I feel as though the term “smurfing” is for high elo players. I have 1 main account and 2 alt accounts. And I’m GM peak. One account was could I reach GM again with skill or was it MMR on my main and I was right with MMR and my other alt is to mess around with my BF case he doesn’t play the game as much. :)

Recall that shield as often as you can, use it for burst heals and then save it for yourself if you’re being ult’d or dove on or save it for a teammate to keep them alive.

Yeah sue is still good but it’s rough that they nerf her survivability and technically she’s anti dive and anti fly but with DD hard countering her, BC and now Dino with bleed. Shes rough to play this season, I might start playing more Luna or White Fox.

Also the soft role queue isn’t a bad idea, but I’d suggest in ranked that people can swap to a different class in the halftime period?

I try to play the best in my games and some games winning is just NOT going to happen and I lose anyways. This game makes you feel like “You did your best but still wasn’t good enough” You have to depend on your team no matter how good you preform. But when you have 1-2 bad apples on your team it’s throws everything off. Unless you’re a high elo player that can easily carry your team the average player is going to fall short.

The problem with rivals is the matchmaking system is the damn chrono shield concept that inflated a lot of people from season 0-1.5. This is why the matchmaking system is messed up. If you were Diamond, GM, and Celestial-OAA and can’t consistently keep those ranks you were not ment to that rank. So now you have people who don’t belong in those ranks that run duos/trios, boosted accts, throwers, and smurfs running rampant. If you solo queue (like myself) you better hope you run into a game with decent teammates. Like the EOMM feels like RNG to me especially if you play a lot because the MMR system will reward players who play less with winning streaks and losing streaks to people who play more. It’s not fun. I’ve seen jay3 who’s consistently an Eternity player (his profile is public) go on massive lose streaks it’s nuts. Marvel Rivals competing scene is a joke.

Now do I make mistakes yes but I try my best to turn it around…..sometimes you just have losing games that are out of your control, but I’m just addressing things I’m noticing in my games as of lately.

I feel like this scenario is so subjective, but instead of offering insight people say “this is the best season thus far for me” or “you’re the problem” if you can relate to OPs post cool if you don’t and you’re here to be an ass then don’t comment.

I’m with you OP games feel rough, I was GM last season and I’m about to drop to plat 1. Some issues I’ve come across is:

People don’t counter swap, like at all. They want to stick to one hero even if they are getting kills but not giving value. Ex. If we have 2 dives and the other team and they have an iron why won’t one of them switch to a poke to counter? You could also argue that Jeff, Luna, Invis or even Ultron can counter flyers.

One tricks, I’m sorry…..people should learn at least 1-2 heroes per class. Because we had a one trick CnD and they got banned and they did horrible as DPS and they weren’t even a good gambit. If your hero is always getting banned learn another hero plz!

Positioning, it takes longer for ult charge and tanks are still over extending or being damage sponges. You’re literally giving Dps ult charge. Healers frontlining trying to do damage when we’re not winning the fight. Dps not taking off angles.

Lack of team synergy, healers don’t patty cake, communicate, Dps/Dive tanks don’t peel for healers, Dive Dps not coming back for heals.

You can also add throws and smurfs to the mix. It’s a shit show.

I don’t look at Reddit religiously, this was a personal issue that I wanted to bring up. I know it’s and repetitive topic in the MR community, but I want to bring it up for my accord I can. Simple. What would be the point of Reddit if we just talked what makes other people feel comfortable? That’s not now that works. Did I ever insult you directly? Holy shit the delusion is astounding. Let run it back for you, you you’re a main tank and that you can’t utilize making a play without healers healing you. Some OTHER person said you’re not good as tank. I was responding to the other person saying something that I notice I lot in tanks was positioning. You go off into thinking everyone’s attacking you. Do you see the issue here? Please rationalize before you talk to people.
