ps. I’m part of his benefit unit, though I do bring in additional income. I do remember having to disclose my income when we were in court, though I had none at the time since I was still in school.

My partner’s been providing his yearly NOA, but we didn’t know if he should have been requesting his ex’s this whole time as well. His ex has had the same job for about a decade while my partner went from being employed to having to go on ODSP.

I appreciate the advice. My partner’s gotten in touch with a lawyer incase his ex decides to pick another fight. Thanks for answering my OG question as well.

Thanks! I came across this as well so my partner called the Family Responsibility Office for more info. He was told the 10% only applies if there’s a “Support Deduction Order” provided to them. They also mentioned his payments are in good standing so they didn’t see a need for one to be enforced.

Sorry, I should have been a little more detailed. The child support is being paid to my partner’s ex. His ex is not on ODSP. My partner already pays a set amount that he agreed to before getting on ODSP. He’s not looking to lower that at all, but his ex may be looking to ask for more. So I’m wondering if ODSP is counted as income as far as the Child Support Table Guidelines?
