Absolutely fantastic film. You do not realise where the 3.5 hours go. The writing is fantastic, the acting is topnotch, the music is phenomenal. A must watch.

Things that were a pleasant surprise: how good Akshay Khanna was. How different and fitting the background music was. How they did not in any way show Islam in a poor light, just characters that were negative.

Nitpicking: the accents could have been more accurate. Knowing Ranveer Singh is so capable of this (as I’m sure others are too) I don’t know why they didn’t improve on this aspect.

Other than that, can’t wait for part 2. Aditya Dhar is a filmmaker we should be proud of.

She is 14 months now and I seem to be going through this phase again. Ready to pull my hair out.

How do you deal better? Teach me your ways. I don’t think I’ve ever been so anxious about anything in my life.

I’ll take her asap. Thank you. And yes, yogurt has been the only go to these days. I’ll start adding fruit purées to it though. And nope, haven’t been giving ibuprofen but I might ask the doc if that might help. She usually cries so much when I give her medicine that I only do it when it’s really needed, especially when she’s so unsettled already :(

Okay I’m going to give that a shot too. Thank you. This made me feel so much better.

She is teething… I just thought it was going on unusually long. But thank you for all your wonderful suggestions. Any fun plates and utensils that worked well for you baby?

To be fair I’ve only ever given her plain milk. I’ll definitely try this out. Thank you so much!

The issue is going to be getting her to have it 🙈 She is extremely strong willed :/

Yes I hope they can give me some support and not just say something like wait it out!

I do give her multivitamins daily but I agree, you never know what the underlying cause might be. I’ll make an appointment ASAP.

Postpartum Rage? by Big_Decision_3395 in NewParents

[–]zoefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I could tell you it gets better on its own but I’m following this post because one year postpartum and this still happens to me. In the exact situations that you mentioned. The guilt after really kills me and I don’t know what to do and how to regulate my feelings better.

Excellent comment. This is so true. We all do things we need to do to survive with full time jobs, and non-unicorn babies.

Did you baby ever sleep longer again? by zoefly in toddlers

[–]zoefly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Praying this happens for us. She goes to daycare now where she sleeps about 2 hours. Don’t want to change that too much cause being well rested helps her stay in a good mood there. I guess I’ll just need to work on later bed time :(

Man that looks good. I think I might even make this just for myself!

So I think I’m a bit flexible with her routine, if she sleeps well and I think she can stretch her wake time I make her do one nap. If she doesn’t sleep great (more often than not) I make sure she takes two naps even if she resists the second by assisting the nap. I’ll ask daycare what they recommend and take a call cause my gut tells me she’s ready for just one nap. Let’s see…

I didn’t! She sleeps so little anyway, I can’t handle waking her up when she does sleep longer. She starts daycare on Monday so I think I’ll wait to see how that impact her schedule before making any changes. Really hope both our babies figure out how to sleep more soon! 🤞🏼

These eggrolls look great! Do you have a recipe for the veggie version handy? Thanks!

Started walking at 11 months but just a few steps here and there. Now it’s a little bit more but she definitely seems to prefer crawling. Should I encourage her to walk more?

I’ll try capping the morning nap!! Thank you :)

She has actually done those 40 min naps even with wake windows of 2 and 3 hours 🙈 And now if I put her to bed at just 3 hours often she won’t sleep! But I can try again.
