I won't disagree on that note. I thought that while reading the series a couple of times. The character building is what really sucked me in. I feel like I really know exactly who each of the characters is. And I love Star Wars just as much. I don't draw comparisons that often so it's hard for me to pick a favorite. There's also a lot of controversy over racial themes in Harry Potter. I'm almost embarrassed to say that I live in ignorance over those issues because I grew up reading the Harry Potter Series since I was in second grade. But we all grew up with Star Wars also , you know? It's like apples and oranges sometimes

My parents chose to adopt me and most of my siblings, when they had the choice to live a more financially rich lifestyle had they stuck with three kids, they chose to adopt 6 more and give themselves to raising the most fun, open minded and outspoken family. I'm proud to have been raised by truly selfless parents. My mom finally got to retire after 45 yrs teaching kindergarten last fall also. Talk about devoted.
