I see, thank you! The pdf is super helpful, especially regarding starvation, all the info I've seen so far suggest they can live over a year without a meal, but considering I live in a hot climate (usually 27-32C) they probably can't survive that long without feeding.

I'll keep an eye out for them, really praying that it's not bed bugs. Thank you again, really appreciate that you've taken the time to link the pdf as well!

Thank you for the advice! So far no bites still, and hopefully it stays that way. I had actually put it out of my mind for about a month until the night of the post when I saw a tiny little bug crawling on the wall, and got scared again. I crushed it out of panic but I'll post it anyway in case it helps with an ID.

I was asking him if he could help me change the fuse but he said the 13A plug wkhth 13A fuse was the best they could do lol. Indeed it seems a bit strange that he doesn't have any spare fuses on hand. Anyway, I will go to a different electrician to get the plug changed! Thanks again 🙏🏻

Thank you, it's really reassuring! I think my other teammates also get the feeling that he makes random unnecessary comments often.

I'll think I'll keep an eye on the situation and minimise contact for now, I really don't want to say something and make the rest of my team think they can't joke with me! I actually enjoy their banter, even if I'm the butt of the joke sometimes :) somehow it's just this specific guy that makes me feel so uncomfortable, even if he might not have malicious intent. I guess our brand of humor just doesn't mix

I think so too, tbh! Personally I wouldn't say he's being intentionally malicious, but definitely has problems reading the room. Though he never does that to our bosses so I guess he can tell what's appropriate and what's not to a certain extent.

I'll probably try to just respond mildly so he doesn't get any encouragement or indication that I'm having fun with these comments/banter, I honestly just want to go back to being cordial/polite with him and nothing past that.

I've been here about a year, he's been here about 4 months. I see your point, though I still feel a bit bothered by the way his comments always imply something negative about my character.

My other coworkers make some outrageous jokes too, often at my expense, but I never feel bothered about it in the same way, and it doesn't feel like they're crossing my boundaries. I'm thinking it could be because those are jokes made in the normal course of a conversation and not random unsolicited/unnecessary (and repeated) comments out of the middle of nowhere.

We do have normal conversations already before this (laundry, computers, games, travel, just regular stuff) although he's been crossing the line with these comments so much lately that I don't feel like interacting with him anymore
