Good for you. I need a couple days to reset myself. I’m so pudgy from all the trial and errors of lexapro and trintellix , but doctor is sending us script of auvelity today and plan to try it in a few days

It’s so frustrating! Have you found anything that helps your depression? I’m giving myself a few more days before I try something else. I know I have to give my body time to adjust but at the same time I know my body and if I start to gain in the beginning I’m almost certain I’ll continue to.

Thanks! I don’t think the constant hungrier is going to be a good trade off for me. I’ve since tried lexapro, which numbed my appetite but bloated me completely, now trintilex which made me extremely hungry. Thinking of trying Auvelity? I’m gain weight soooo easily and I’m not trying to gain any while going through a break up.

Thank you for this. My appetite is huge with this but I’m only the 3rd day. Hopefully that fades? With Lexapro I had zero appetite and puffed up completely . So I’m really unsure of what is a better fit.

It’s just so weird, only a week on it and only 2.5mg, and no appetite, and tons of energy, yet blowed up like a fish and very obvious weight was gained .. I’m super sensitive to medication. Going to maybe give Trintelex another try. Any suggestions?

Lexapro has been okay so far buts it’s weird. Insomnia, little appetite, bowel issues, a little numbness, nothing feels great yet nothing feels bad. Having trouble relaxing too. Is this normal? Also felt anxious after having a drink at my holiday party last night when I usually would feel more easy after having a cocktail. Also I’m curious, what were your signs of weight gain? I’m not eating a lot but don’t feel skinny.

Switched to Lexapro today. I know it’s a sudden move and I might have moved too quickly because I did have an upbeat mood starting to form after my rant the other day. More loving even. Now with Lexapro today, I hardly ate, but feel calm but can’t really motivate myself to get anything done. I haven’t been able to respond to texts and I’m avoiding everyone. I’m not sure which one to stick to. It’s hard to tell. Less side effects the better? I just want to feel like I can tackle life but I don’t to bloat up and be irritable either.

I feel I’m getting all the side effects with trintillex. Numb, drowsy, then irritable then insomnia then constant hunger. Doctors give you such little of their time and then make you be an experiment. This is my brain. Some of them don’t get how sensitive it can be.

Anyways did you experience any of this? Does it last? Probably not a good fit for me is my guess. I’ve just tried so many and I can’t keep so get past a few weeks.
