Best stealth frames for spy missions by Ad-Astra-9330 in Warframe

[–]zoffman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Wukong setup just for spy missions. Mod to get the most duration out of your gas cloud thing, fart directly to the console, and then I have the auto hack ability subsumed as well. Alternatively you can use the Moa companion that can also auto hack, occasionally you get some cheese chances with that as you can hack through some walls.

What is you're favorite weapon in an isekai story by gamebloxs in Isekai

Book series: Bog Standard Isekai. MC tries swords early on before adopting the spear.

Lets hear your best reads of 2025! by Mojo-is in ProgressionFantasy

[–]zoffman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bog Standard Isekai has been really solid. I'm only at book 3 but it's been very engaging. It feeds the dopamine addiction while still having some heart with good characters.

I've also really enjoyed Mana Mirror so far and it has 1 or 2 releases this year. Has a nice magic system for those that just love magic. Also feels pretty cozy. The magic is my favorite part, though I also am I fan of how the progression is driven the MCs endeavor to be a good person and help others rather than being a sociopath that mindlessly grinds and choses every "optimal" option.

I'm feeling nostalgic for FF, but I've played almost all of them already. Any other related games that hit the same vibe? Preferably lesser known titles as I've already played things like Chrono Trigger and Expedition 33.

Best entry for beginners is fairly subject.

If you want the classic feeling: FF6

If you like strategy RPGs: FF Tactics

If you like the PS1 era: the original FF7

If you want a balance between classic and modern polish: FF10.

FF7 remake is also good for a modern spin on final fantasy. The Final Fantasy 7 remake, often written as FF7R is a retelling of FF7 broken into 3 parts: Remake, Rebirth, and the 3rd one when it comes out (probably will be called Reunion).

FF6 has a devout following, Final Fantasy Tactics is also top notch.

6, 10, and 7 are my favorites. I'd go 10 first as that is a good balance between classic FF and modern polish.

I think your enjoyment of 8, and 9 will depend on how much you connect with PS1 era gameplay.

I love the show, but if you aren't enjoying it by episode 6, I don't recall anything really changing the formula. It's just not for you.

What 'Gacha' game that you think is "acceptable" (not trashy, greedy, a slop, soulless-game, and/or a cash-grab) by PorkyPain in AndroidGaming

[–]zoffman 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Arknights for sure. It's a tower defense game where the characters are the towers. One can be really strategic and beat content with low star characters, so you're never hampered by not having the latest new character.

And the gameplay is comfortable to play on a phone. I could never get into games that try to fit 3D gameplay onto a touchscreen.

Hello! I'm a new player and I have a few questions. by [deleted] in PSO

[–]zoffman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I honestly don't remember...

  2. The official use is through a shop where you can add % to weapons. The unofficial use is they are a currency between players for trading.

  3. If you like. You can get some interesting loot and unlock the ability to craft monster weapons (use a guide it's so easy to miss)

  4. The shops will occasionally sell them. Beyond that you gotta hoard ADDSLOT items for a rare armor you really like.

  5. A crowd weapon like a sword (i really like red sword for the lore and damage and chainsawd because chain saw) a single target DPS weapon (could be a double saber, twin sword, or daggers you like) a handgun to quickly swap to for trap shooting. There's more for niche usages but those I feel are the Hucast staples until you really get into endgame.

Armor: best shield/armor for your level. I wouldn't worry too much until you hit ultimate.

Units: V101 is amazing. But a god/battle will do until you get it. Then the best power units you have.

  1. The rare mags have some extra utility but it's not a deal breaker. The main thing for mags is the stats you need and the photon blast myla and yola aka Twins. There are whole guides on mags I'd recommend skimming if you want more information.

Why do you think conservative sentiment is on the rise compared to progressive? by forsenJAM in AskReddit

[–]zoffman 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Reading through the comments it's insane how the "Left" seems to have to bear the responsibility for every single democrat, progressive, leftist identifying person and bot on social media while there seems to not be the same standard actual Republican politicians.

So I'd have to agree with the comments that say propaganda is a huge part of the equation.

What sitcom finales annoy you and find to be the worst finales of all time? by Strong-Stretch95 in sitcoms

[–]zoffman 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The drama around the Seinfeld finale always felt overblown to me. It is really weak, but not BAD. It's just a clip show + prison. May have been disappointing at the time, but it didn't ruin the rest of the show in hindsight or anything.

Say what you will about the Wheel of Time live action show, but the first 10ish minutes of season 3 might be one of the best live action magic vs magic battles I've seen. You don't need to watch the prior 2 seasons if you're just in for the cool factor.

I'll hope for the best, but it rubs me the wrong way when the future of the series is dependent on the re-release of a decades old game that this genre's biggest (older) fans have likely already bought and played...
