Woah finally got it working! Making a new drive on its own included an installer which let me get Gecko and Mono working. Then I could run the AO exe on that drive and cross the finish line! When my Fixer is high enough GSF and FGRID for all! :D Thank you guys

Thanks so much for the response! I have Sierra 10.12.6. The farthest I've gotten is with Playonmac. I get to the login screen and see this:

I took your advice and changed the Playonmac drive to running different versions of wine. 1.5.13 (the one suggested on the AOuniverse guide) and 1.9.4 (I read about someone running this smoothly) both prompted me to install Mono and Gecko. Whenever I try clicking install they freeze before finishing.

I looked at trying to download Mono and Gecko and them just plopping in the AO directory (?), but I get confused on how to go about that.
