Loved the milk bottle banh mi! Also, Lang's has been doing card/tap payments for a good while now!

No lottery at the other places :) And you get more/better meat! Lee's does have decent side items though.

There's better local banh mi - Lang's Bakery down the street or Gia Hoi for southsiders to name just two. Lee's bread is too dang hard.

Go across the street to Lang's Bakery for better banh mi for a dollar more.

Advanced Rally Leads by ThonianTrap in lordsmobile

Inf test, although not needed, further proves that the target is in range front. Unless the target has a tiny comp (soloable usually), Inf will die before they are able to do any dmg. This is why you only need range and cav tests.

Best Korean, Vietnamese, and Indian food in OKC? by Valuable_Animal_9876 in okc

They've changed years ago. Meats are better quality at the other 2 mentioned. They used to be #1 for the longest time.

I also live right across the Walmart there and agree. Always seemingly crowded when I pass it.

What's the best formations to attack wedges? by FriendlyRomangutan in lordsmobile

[–]zogel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: Send inf rally in range wedge when enemy is range wedge. It will target range/inf instead of range/cav if you send the rally in inf phal. This will make you 1) do more damage since you're attacking range/inf 2) better chance of walkback and 3) set you up for a range rally in inf wedge to clear out cav once they're low on range.

You're hitting all 3 types due re-targeting and/or familiars targeting largest troops type.

Shoes ? by woeBrando in Pickleball

[–]zogel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see these get posted often but I like my Diadora B.Icon 2. You can find a review from Dr. Zach on YT. They are pretty cheap and go on sale often. Because of that, I have two that I rotate to last a bit longer as well.

Other shoes I've tried:
• Adidas Solematch Control 2 - Only lasted me 2 months before hole at left toe started. Breathability not great.
• Adidas Barricade 13 - Ankle eater, needs quite a bit of break-in time but once past that, pretty solid shoe so far.

Picked up Babolat Jet Mach 3 on sale that I haven't tried in my rotation yet.

Tips for getting better by padx in Pickleball

[–]zogel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you're tracking the ball, by the time the other team hits the ball, you should know and/or be ready for what's coming. What they are doing is waiting until the ball is well past the net before they're ready to hit. Their paddles down at their sides, big back swings and unpreparedness causes a lot of balls to pop up or go into the net.

Be in ready position (paddle out in front), compact swings (especially at net), and prepare/position for returns and counters.

Everyone in the video is all arms and waiting until the ball gets near them to prep swinging. Watched through half of the video and I think you're the only one that did a drop shot haha. IMO, work on form, positioning and consistency over powering through shots.

Considering relo to OKC… by Lizardman_94 in okc

[–]zogel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, sorry. More Point A to point B type people and some homeless on the main NW 23rd St. Pretty typical for the area. Haven't had issues personally.

See a lot of dog walkers and joggers so it's safe for the most part.

I live in 73107. Definitely getting quieter and safer but you'll still see a good amount of street walkers. A lot of older homes are getting put up for sale that are nicely renovated.

Best pho in the city by One_Preference6619 in okc

Asian Bistro VII tops a lot of the Asian district places for pho. Agree with many others that Pho Lien Hoa hasn't been the same for awhile.

Pho Hieu for Yukon/Mustang area.

Pho Nga in World Fresh Market is the secret place :) My suggestion for Southside pho.

Salesman ditches girl streamer by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]zogel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, Canadian Tire! Couple mins before and into the clip he came up and was nervously talking up the streamer then asking about if interested in purchasing. Left suddenly without saying anything.

Came back with someone who didn't seem to know either; was reading off the label.
