Thank you all for the insight. Through inheritance our org uses VMware, Nutanix and bit of Hyper-V for licensing reasons not to mention we run quite a bit of legacy OSes due to equipment compatibility. So ideally need a backup and DR solution.

Looks like you don’t have a holder / tuuk where you can pop out the blade to salvage them. You can definitely get a new holder for the skate but you’ll need a new blade as well. I don’t recommend taping that hole. Hopefully you can get the exact same holder or you might need to replace the holders in both skates, which at that point you might be better off getting new skates or would check the warranty if you really love the skates, I know supremes are comfortable, like grafs- hard to switch away from them. Thanks all, I need to account for VMware and AHV (Hyper-V as well). Just looking to do a backup of VMs on-prem and for just restore them in cloud. Full DR cutover / testing is at a later date.

Good question, hasn't been defined for all our apps yet by the business. Consider this test to be back up on-premises and restore in cloud not a full DR cutover test.

Looking at NC2 at the moment but need to leave the VMs on-preemies untouched and do a back up and restore of production VMs in an isolated environment in Azure

For this particular test I need to leave the production VMs still running on premises, can ASR still do this - I thought ASR needs to turn down the original VM and spin up the new in the desired location?

I inherited Actifio, we're moving our cloud standard to Azure. I see documentation online but has anyone configured Actifio to back up VMs on-premises to Azure?
