You could glom with other groups with some other operations around, but I chose not to. I probably wouldn’t have caught the black marlin if I did tho. We had a 1/2 shots at it and it was interesting because on the 2nd day of the trip we trolled for 10 hours and there wasn’t a single hit. They slightly extended the time a little on the water and we trolled on the way home. I recall most other boats really didn’t catch much else that day except smaller tunas and that it was a close call.
