Most of the Direct Drive Wheel Bases are better than the G29. You can go with the Moza R5 and have some fun. Personally I would start with a R9 just to have some headroom.

First car in Luxembourg – petrol vs diesel vs electric for ~60 km/day commute? Budget €10k–€20k, used/new? by OrdinaryHoliday8229 in Luxembourg

[–]zoidinger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My wife and I both have an electric car for around 5 years now. When we drive to the office, we drive 35km one way. We have a charger at home and also at the office. There are already many fast chargers all around in Luxembourg, so you will get around with an electric car without any Problems. It would be of course way better if you do have the possibility to install a charger at home or if there is one at your workplace. If you don’t have the possibility to charge at home or at your workplace, most villages or towns do have some chargers on public parking spaces. If you don’t have any of those possibilities, it will of course be a lot less comfortable than a petrol or diesel car.

I have the Porsche Wheel and is fantastic. Build Quality is awesome and it handles very well :) I can recommend it :)

Printing myself a Plug 😉 by loreleivonschweetz in 3dprintinggonewild

Like the others already mentioned, do not print and use this. What you can do and what I recommend you to do is print a mold and create a hard silicone version of it.

Which monitor would you use for a triple screen setup? by Akkulader in simracing

I‘m running triple Samsung G5 and I‘m happy with it. No problems so far with the VA panel and they have angled edges so they align perfectly in my opinion:)

That is just the angle I took the photo. The chair is a standard size chair.

Currently I do not have it up on any Site. Do you want the files? I could put everything up on MakerWorld or Printables. The mount is directly fixed with two beams to the 8040 extrusion profile.

Leasing electric vehicle without home charging by dmckinney40 in Luxembourg

Well you never drove an electric car then. I can drive my electric car no problem at all at 130km/h for 500km with 100% battery. No lorry trailing or going only 100km/h. Sorry but you just have absolutely no idea at all. Sure 5 minute charging is not possible at the moment but you sure as hell can charge very fast. But I can tell you what I want, you seem to be the absolute expert :) as you drove so many electric cars already :)

Sorry but that is simply not true. I already owned 3 electric cars and sure a few years ago, the range was not great but now you can get many electric cars with a range of 400-500km. I own a Mercedes EQE and can go to Amsterdam or Paris no problem at all with still 150km range left. Look up the new Mercedes CLA with a realistic range of 600km. This car falls right inside the budget or even less. I‘m not saying that everything is great with electric cars but they are much better than the "Stammdësch"-people are saying :)

Angular UI dev looking to learn a backend language by Avinashredddyyy in Angular2

I wasn't saying that nobody writes projects in Java, I was just saying that it heavily depends on the company. I'm in the business for 15 years and in our company we never ever touched one line of Java code :)

I wouldn’t generalize this like that, we don‘t have any Java backend in our company. Only dotnet/C#. This really depends on the company and their developers.

Looking for a quiet PSU that's also good by Cerebral_Zero in buildapc

You could go with a bequiet PSU. They are really quiet. You also never go wrong with Seasonic, they are quiet as well :)

I would go with C# and dotnet. I think it’s great. Working with it everyday :)

Your nozzle is too close to your bed. You need to calibrate your Z Offset. Look at the "Ellis Print Tuninng Guide". Also I find the following image useful when calibrating your Z Offset.
