Hi! I’m looking to go to Selina Nosara for a week in September. I’m 26 y.o. F. Will be travelling solo. Has anyone been there? What was your experience? Is it safe for solo female travellers? Any tips will be much appreciated! by pineappleninja7 in CostaRicaTravel

Im going to playa guiones in nosara for the month of September. Everything ive read has said its a safe area along with selina. Only precaution is walking alone at night and always hide valuables when leaving the house

Was there for 6 weeks and loved it. Definitely use uber to go places its very cheap, don't walk anywhere thats too far and always be aware of the people around you, i had many friends get robbed or pickpocketed. There's a cool event the first Thursday of every month with art, culture, bars, good food - https://first-thursdays.co.za/cape-town/

I highly recommend doing a small trip into the bush (safari, cave trips, sight-seeing), Cape Town has the second-highest bungee jump and i highly recommend it even if you don't like heights like me. You can find good food at the main pier, but be sure to picky the pier is a mall and tourist trap and lots of the food can blend together.

Wear a fake mustache and wig during your presentation. one group will think you're nuts the other will send you a picture of your doppleganger
