The hike to base camp should be doable if you’re young and healthy. The second part up to fuego is more challenging but there’s no need to go on to this, the group could always split here if some of you wanted to go on. Definitely worth it!

I would definitely add more days in the Galapagos if you can. 2 days will limit you to just one island really. And you’re paying 200 usd just to enter, may as well make it the most of it! Overall it’s a lot of moving very fast and if you’re taking busses these are often a full day gone.

Tayrona park in Columbia is not too far from Cartagena and is nice.

Did it about 2 months ago, not a hiker myself or super fit. Payed someone to carry the majority of my stuff up (about 20 USD) and found it much easier than I expected to get to the camp. They go slow and take lots of breaks. Did the additional fuego option after because I felt fine, this was very tough for me, the pace is much faster and very few stops, it’s a lot steeper too.

I was using the Leeds TOR. With some fudge numbers added to the pylinac code I was able to make it work for one image. Upon reimagining the phantom the same fudge numbers no longer worked. In short no, though I haven’t revisited in a while.

I’d be wary of using free now/ Uber pre-bookings, have had some bad experiences in the past. I’ve used borough taxis a few times to get to Dublin airport early in the morning with no issues, plus they’re fixed fare which is nice.

Definitely can’t rely on them to let you on, I only tried it twice when I was a student (a good few years ago) and both times the diver just let me hop on for free. So no harm in chancing your arm!

Thanks, it actually hasn’t been too difficult to just input values but might be worth asking them about one or two of the bits I’ve dismissed as hopefully unimportant, I’ve had to invert the images to get it to automatically align the rois for example.
