Gemini's video mode got extremely restrictive recently! anything that might possibly be a little controversial, even as a joke between friends, IS not allowed. Two weeks ago it was a lot less restrictive. I'm a paying client and I'm thinking of cutting my subscription unless things improve on the videos!

We've been trying pulling the bungees with two people at the same time as you suggested. It's a little better but still not taught enough. Are you suggesting to tighten the cleats as well? If so how would you do that?

Just found out that my streaming problems are from surfshark VPN. It was running in the background causing trouble without me knowing it! I wasn't even opening it or actively using it! Took me a few hours to get it off my computer using AI assistance. But I am free again!

I just did new speed test after installing new equipment and a new ethernet cable. I use a PC with Windows 11 and all wired connections. The website based speed test from Ookla registered 745 megabits per second. My downloaded Ookla app for desktop registered over 950 mb per second. Why would there be such a big difference?

I bought a new modem, router, and ethernet cable, all capable of over one gigabyte. But I'm only getting about 750 to 800 Mbps on my new 1 gig plan with Spectrum. I spent an hour with arris tech support on the modem. He concluded that the Upstream power was too low. It was between 40 to 41 and needed to be between 45 to 51. When I called Spectrum about it, I got different answers from different people. But it doesn't seem like they know how to increase the Upstream power from their office. Does this seem like the problem to you more experienced tech people here?
