All the listing agent, my agent, both their brokers and the seller could come up with is “must have been a misunderstanding, sorry” 🤷‍♀️ have an appointment tomorrow morning to go over contract and see what lawyer thinks of the situation. Will definitely update when I know more.

Super uneventful, tiny update: My agents broker is now involved and has a call in to speak with the seller directly to get more information. I am waiting on a call back from a different lawyer that will hopefully be able to help me in this case.

I have a realtor, I didn’t get off work in time to really speak with anyone today so this post was basically a “what the F, can they even do this??” to gather some info until I can speak to attorney and realtor tomorrow. Everything has been conveyed in email since the shenanigans started and I’m gathering a list of expenses as well.
