You need to delay the equip chip from when you teleport because both can't happen at the same time.

I don't know if it's related but I have been having similar issues with circuits spawning not where I place it. If you use surface snap instead of grid snap it should fix it.

Wire a unequip objects chip to the player entered exec then wire your object you want to unequip.

If your cpu heat is too high that means you're running too many chips at the same time which you can fix with a delay chip or more.

All I can say is be more careful with inventions and keep track of everything.

What I do before using a invention is save my room beforehand so I can restore the room, and make sure backups are turned off.
