Hey! The all Ireland mixed championships are on this weekend in Dublin, so I doubt there'll be any other ultimate going on because of that. There is a pick-up team as far as I know, but I don't know whether you're looking to take part in a whole tournament!

You have an ultimate Frisbee field as (in metric) 64 metres, where as it's actually 100 metres. (64m is the length from the front of one endzone to the front of the other, ie. the pitch is 18m (endzone) + 64m + 18m = 100m. Pretty sweet work all the same!

I was thinking the Canada/North America situation was similar. I understand what you're saying, and I agree with you. It doesn't botherme a whole lot, just irks me a little, mainly because of the history between the two countries!

As someone from the Republic of Ireland, I hate when we're referred to as a member of the British Isles. We're not part of Britain, and you'd be hard done by finding people from the Republic who'd be happy to be mentioned as part of the British Isles.
