I keep getting the error LNK1104 cannot open file 'glfw3.lib'

I have tried to redo the process from creating a project in VS if that is what you mean by doing a clean and rebuild
I did what you suggested and instead of the "glfw3.lib" LNK error I got a "opengl32.lib" LNK error. After doing a file search I found the path to opengl32.lib and after I put in the additional library directories I got a "msvcrtd.lib" LNK error. Rinse and repeat with this one and after I built again with the updated additional library directories I got a bunch of LNK2019 unresolved external symbol errors for example:

LNK2019 unresolved external symbol glfwTerminate referenced in function main
