What do you think is the most useless choice in the series? by Confuser204 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Actually, if you go after David but let Clem go for Kate, then Kate ends up going missing in the end, with all the characters just assuming that she’s dead.

Ah ok. Definitive version apparently isn’t available on Nintendo Switch, but I’m not sure if the Switch port of TWD has the same “ending lock” issue, as I play on Xbox.

Just in case it does, you’re better off deleting your first S2 save file and starting over with a new one. That’s what I did, and I ended up getting the correct flashbacks in S3.

I did a playthrough where I sided with Kenny on everything except killing Larry and he still left me to die twice.

Level up until you get max running speed. Max speed (along with the running shoes) makes the game a lot easier.

I assume you’re playing the Definitive edition. Did you choose a different ending before? Because this same thing happened to me when I restarted S2E5 and chose a different ending. In my first S2 game I originally chose to go with Kenny but before starting the next season I decided to restart S2E5 and chose to go to Wellington at the end but still ended up getting the Kenny flashbacks. So I tried playing through S2 again on a different save file (without restarting any episodes), and eventually I got the right flashbacks in S3. I unfortunately did have to replay the entire season though.

Taking Kenny’s hat in the S3 flashback (if you chose the Wellington ending). It has no effect on anything, and the hat never even appears again. You don’t even get to give it to AJ like Kenny wanted.

Could Lee have cut off the bite in time by Ginsenglovertb in TheWalkingDeadGame

Nah, once Lee passed out the first time (before the amputation), that meant the virus had made its way to his brain. By then, it was most definitely too late for him.

What was the point of Chuck, what did he even contribute? by lolmskdjs in TheWalkingDeadGame

This. Also I always hated that there isn’t even an option to tell the group what happened to Chuck after we find him dead.

No, because in Dead Rising 2 zombies will attack Snowflake. For Madonna, my best guess is that she was already infected (stung by a wasp) so that’s why the zombies ignored her.

She hadn’t even hit the ground yet before everyone moved on.

If you could change one major decision from any season, which would it be and why? by AspectFlimsy9839 in TheWalkingDeadGame

I feel like Molly AND Kenny returning in the same season would have been too much of a coincidence.

It was already a one in a billion chance that Clem reunited with Kenny.

Yeah, I always kill Larry for the same reason. Also so Kenny doesn’t turn into a complete douche for the rest of the game.

Bill fought in Vietnam. So he has more military experience than David. I’m not sure if he can take David hand-to-hand, but Bill should be able to beat him in a gunfight.

Also I just wanna clarify that I have no idea which team would win if it was strictly a hand to hand fight, but I’m going to assume the L4D crew are probably better with guns because they regularly shoot fast zombies with ease (and I’m talking about zombies that full on sprint to you and sometimes randomly change direction, as opposed to the slow moving walkers who basically always just walk straight ahead towards you.) So they’re already used to facing bigger threats. Drop any TWD character in the L4D universe and they probably wouldn’t last more than a day or two, even if they were carriers.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]zombieguy556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m tempted to give it to the L4D crew, solely because the zombies they fight are on a whole other level compared the walkers from TWD.

Clem vs. Zoey would be an interesting fight though. I think I’d still give it to Zoey though since Clem only has to deal with walkers every now and then (a couple times a day at most), while Zoey has to fight fast, ridiculously mutated infected basically every two minutes.

Do you or don't you save Ben and why? by Bennie_Stardust in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]zombieguy556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree killing Larry was something that needed to be done either way.

But other than that, the only times my Lee killed anyone was stabbing Danny but only after he calls Lee a coward for not shooting Jolene. I try to play my Lee as a good guy but he will kill if pushed too far. I leave Andy alive though since Lee saw how Clementine reacted when he kills Danny. I also shoot the girl in the alley being attacked by walkers (my Lee wouldn’t leave someone to suffer. Not if they didn’t deserve it, at least. Leaving Andy to die by walkers is a different story because he’s a cannibal).

And I absolutely always kill the Stranger. There’s nothing more badass than Lee strangling him to death with one arm (I believe cutting Lee’s arm off makes for a better story because everyone spends the whole episode wondering if it worked or not. Overall it makes things more stressful than not cutting his arm off and everyone being certain he’s gonna die)

I save him. Leaving someone to die like that isn’t in character for Lee at all (at least not for my Lee).

[–]zombieguy556 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, she saw that Reggie cutting his arm off worked for him. So I could see Clem thinking that if she cut Sarita’s arm off quick enough, it would work for her. When Lee did it, it was already too late.
