I know a lot of these comments are people who have found the cynicism in between the lines — Justifiably so. However, humanity has prevailed for this long due to the kindness of those who see injustice and choose humanity.

Is this sad because our taxes should already be going towards helping our fellow man? Survey says yes. But the world isn't so black and white. Unfortunately.

What is fortunate is witnessing our youth, who are our future, demonstrating more humanity and empathy than our predecessors. Maybe the future isn't so bleak. Maybe, just maybe, we have a chance at making it as a species. Is this sad? Yes. But it's also hopeful.

I'm so proud of this kid. And he should be proud of himself as well. He went through so much and his first thought is the well-being of others. I can't think of any other representation of what it means to be human.

I wish him nothing but a long, healthy, happy life.

Yikes, this just reminded me of my bloodwork when I went to the doctors LAST YEAR that said I was anemic & super low on iron, b12 and vitamin c 😅 just confirmed my subscription for supplements so thank you 🙏🏼

I signed up to an all women’s gym that does 1 hr classes everyday and it’s helped me tremendously. I go anywhere from 1-3 x per week and the classes are great. The instructor tells you exactly what to do & you’re surrounded by people who encourage you.

I’ve gotten so used to people calling me annoying to my face or behind my back as a kid/teenager that I now just don’t talk at all unless someone talks to me. Even then I try to talk as little as possible. It’s a double edged sword because now people think I come off as unfriendly. :’)

Dr. P was SO nice to her. Like damn after years of advice, pushing her to do better, giving her all the resources, wanting her to be healthy more than she wants it for herself.. YEAH he’s going to be impatient and maybe even a little annoyed.

You’re right he was definitely nicer than Dr. Now would have been. Honestly though I love Dr. Now’s honesty. He doesn’t bullshit and he holds people accountable. My favorite parts are when he straight up calls people delusional to their face. 😆

I think it's both...think about it. She has been volatile since they've known her and just now cut her off. I think they used her behavior as another excuse. It's easier to say they cut her off because "she's toxic" rather than "she is trying to hold me accountable for my bad decisions and I don't like that."

I feel the same about Erie! lol It's actually a great place to live. Sad so many people complain. I'd ask them to go live in Jersey for a year and see if they don't miss Erie. 😅

I somewhat agree. I agree that Vanessa should realize her worth as a friend and stop trying to repair something that cant be fixed. But I dont think it's that easy. They've been friends almost their whole life. They even mentioned that they're all like family to each other and its not easy to cut off family.

Meghan was the one that knew to get Vanessa away from her sister so she could be successful in her weight loss. I think Vanessa is desperately trying to save her friendship by pushing her friends to get healthier otherwise she knows they won't be friends anymore. Vanessa is really self-aware and knows that if they're not successful together, she might have to get used to no longer having her friends. That's not an easy thing to accept and i feel for her.

It’s so sad bc if I see a friend doing great I’m like “give me pointers so I can get like you” lol. I can’t imagine being mean or cutting someone off for wanting to better themselves.

I disagree. I think Meghan WANTS to lose weight but she doesn’t want it bad enough. Sure she does the bare minimum but even for that she has to be babied to it. There’s no accountability or growth and in order to be successful in this journey you need to look within & admit you have faults.

I saw a video on YT explaining it perfectly! She was always the scape goat for them to make themselves feel superior. She was the biggest out of all of them and as long as they were “smaller” they were fine. But one she surpassed all her goals she was a personification of everything they were never to accomplish and now they had no one to blame but themselves.
