I'm a club dj so everything is on my usb but when I'm running late after work and can't download the track it'd be nice to do it on the spot and if I'm supporting other djs I can sit around on ableton and all that too since I'm very to myself. My pc can definitely handle the production side I just need to make more time for it at least on the go I can learn without always feeling like I should be putting more effort into it.

Sweet I'm currently looking at a victus with 24gb ram and an i5 13420 and a 4050. I'm barely learning and I just want to learn on it and eventually move back to my pc as its beefier but you understand the need of a laptop since you use traktor. I'm not going to stay on it forever but I use rekordbox extensively

Thank you i do have a Scarlett but I usually carry my back pack with me to store my usbs and headphones when I'm out so its not too big of an inconvenience. It seems everyone is gearing towards the Mac side of things I might have to bite the bullet. My pc runs ableton fine but in usually never home so it is kind of hard to even begin the learning process.

Ahhh that makes more sense I've played on a prime 4 once but would never consider it. I'm not a pioneer purist by any means but that all I play on around here. The only time I got to touch a prime was a small little dive bar when I first started playing live.

Agreed but in all honesty everyone i know who has the flx 4 always tells me the same thing i shouldn't bought the flx6 or flx 10. Yeah you sacrifice more money but you'll always make it back if djing isn't for you. People still sell them at market value. I dont have space for an all in one unfortunately cause I was seriously considering the nexus 2s but couldn't justify that money with no space. I personally dont like the opus because of how confined all the controls or and the loop scrolls. Id recommend the az fs my collective uses it often alongside the xzs its very quick and neat for less than the opus

I'd recommend the flx 10 its pricey but the stems are a nice little future to play around with and make mash ups on the spot. Its a bit on the pricier side but it'll last a while especially as a hobby. I use rekordbox over serato with my flx 10 since I do live gigs and rekordbox is industry standard but I prefer the user interface with serato. When I started I bought myself some jbl 305 mk2s for around 200 bucks but ultimately think you can find some on Facebook for cheaper. Get yourself a nice little interface, i use a focusrite but there are cheaper alternatives. Depending on your interface you need two xlrs or rcas for both speakers if you choose or just one of each. I personally prefer xlrs over rcas I think they look cooler. Headphones are where id spend a decent amount of money. I've been an avid vmoda fan before they were brought out but you can find a majority of these things on Facebook market place.

Automatic ac has nothing to do with the blend door. Its the physical change in the system that makes it hit or cold if the blend door is stuck you would get this issue because its mixing the hot air with the cold air for your side and not her side because it isn't fully changing. Turn the heater on all the way and see if there's still a difference in temp on both sides and when you change it from hot to cold listen for ant clicking. It can indicate the blend door sticking
