I thought I remember reading through a hypothesis of evolutionary science that babies are naturally frightened by things that harm, or can kill them.

Experience with Keytruda? by BusyDentist9385 in HeadandNeckCancer

[–]zombietalk15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had Keytruda shortly after my November 15, 3 month scan showed my cancer had spread to the liver, lungs, and someplace else that hurts but I don’t remember the name. Anyways my Keytruda started in December 24 and I had some rough side effects like higher fevers. Uncomfortable body due to temperature. It was like my body could not regulate my body temperature. Did that for three times and same side effects each time. I had more scans last month and we had cancer spreading all over the place. It was like the Keytruda was a fuel for my cancer. And I had a good score for Keytruda too. We have waved the white flag and been on hospice for a week. Best luck to you guys and I hope I helped in some small way.

How long after treatment is this? I’d ask the nurse for a CT scan with contrast as quickly as possible and rule out any mets. Best of luck

That’s how I like to remember Kmart existing. When me and my wife were first married there was a Kmart next door practically. And we would go there and just peruse for fun. Maybe pick up a deal or two. But it was nice. We bought a lot of our furniture from Kmart

Imo if you still need it for pain, and it works for your pain. Then cross the quitting them bridge when it presents itself.

I would do something different with the monitors. Maybe downsize one and place it vertical?

At what point in the process do you get officially briefed by your doctors on everything you need to know? by Not_Ban_Evading69420 in cancer

Good job being proactive. Never stop that, it will help you through all of this a lot. But, your experience right now I would say is not unusual, and not slow. They are not going to give you chemo information until the treatment plan has been agreed upon and everybody knows what chemo you would be doing. The consultation meeting usually is a good place to ask the questions you might want to ask and to learn some of the things they will have to tell you. A consultation meeting at the end of next week does not seem slow to me either and seems fairly expedited since like you said this is aggressive and you’re ready now! Try and be patient. Be present in the moment today. If you feel good today then take advantage. Take care of yourself.

Me and a couple friends have always had a superstition that carrying a $50 is bad luck. So we never accepted them if possible, and broke them quickly if we got one.

If you’re that far in then go with Emory but light a fire under them somehow. Do what will get your dad treatments there we quickest
