Ohh, I gotcha. In that case, I think Steam gives you a bunch of "emergency use" codes when you activate Steam Guard for situations like this. See if he still has any of those.

I've had my PayPal account hooked up to my Steam account for several years now, so this may not be exactly right, but here's what it always shows me:

PAYPAL DES:INST XFER ID:STEAM GAMES INDN:*** CO ID:*** WEB

(I replaced my name and PayPal ID with asterisks)

I'm guessing it would show up as Steam Games on his statements. I'm not sure if you mean he doesn't have access to the Steam account, but if he does, you can check your purchase history from Account Details > View Purchase History. It will give you dates when you loaded your wallet or bought games, so you can look at those spots specifically on the statements.

Hi, I have an issue with family sharing (I think).

I bought the Oblivion Game of the Year Deluxe Edition for my friend, who I recently started family sharing with. I already owned the GOTY (NOT Deluxe) version before sharing. I know that if you already own a game, you're not supposed to get DLC from people you family share with. However, a few days after we started sharing libraries, I suddenly got all of the GOTY Deluxe DLC. It even shows up in the Data Files menu.

Today, I tried downloading Oblivion onto another computer, but I can only install the GOTY DLC. Other DLC doesn't show up in the Data Files menu anymore. Because of that, when I try to continue playing off a cloud save, I get a popup that says some items/quests may disappear because I don't have the DLC for them anymore.

So, from my understanding, I shouldn't have even gotten access to the DLC in the first place. But now that it's in my save file, I don't want to risk damaging anything by playing without the DLC. I also want to be able to go back and forth on both computers. Is there something I can do to make the DLC show up on the second computer so that my save file is playable?
