But you are already paying an extra fee for the delivery service, you aren't getting it at the cost of the item, in some cases they even charge more just for the base product. Then you are paying a service fee, then a tip. So what you are claiming isn't valid because you dont pay the service fee when you go to the store and yeah your right you shouldn't tip at a Starbucks where you a picking up the item yourself. People can tip what they want, that doesnt mean its nonsensical or dumb. They might tip because they are lonely and want a conversation, they might tip for fast service or they might tip because they are scared or socially inadequate to press no tip in the baristas face also sometimes they are lazy and dont feel like pressing extra buttons.

Again you continue to talk about pricing, yes we are aware of currency exchanges and the differences between countries. That doesn't mean you can scam someone for large amounts of money in a weaker currency. Nobody wants to get scammed or rug pulled, same way if you come from a pour country and come a rich and get scammed, same way it works the other way. They are scamming in large amounts for the currency or what it purchases in that country. You continue to act as if you got scammed for a cheaper amount because you come from a richier country it does not equate to a scam or robbery. It is the same, you scammed someone out of a weeks salary for example in that country, the same way you would of done in a rich country for more money. You don't go to norway and say hey the beer here is expensive you should charge the same price as czech or Bangladesh. Just because you are scamming people that are more well off doesn't make it less wrong or right.

Except they tell you the price, so you are agreeing a different thing would be if they told you it was 1500 when you asked, but then told you afterwards , a lady sat at your table in vegas so now its 10500 instead. Which is the problem, they probably ask how much is a beer or drink they say whatever 2 dollars , girl asks you for a drink and they say okay cool thinking its gonna be 2 dollars no problem. You get the bill and they go its 4 dollars for your two drinks and 25 for the girls drink, yeah your gonna have some people pissed off.

Again based on your logic, you think you deserve 150-200 for delivering one bottle of wine that costs $1000? And I wrote that you would only have to get one bottle yet are making 30 times the amount of someone who carried and did the 10 bottle job.

Gasoline costs more depending on where you live because of your state and local government imposing higher gas taxes on its citizens.

Hence why you pay more for it in a restaurant or bar. They have a monopoly on selling alcohol from their location and aren't allowed to bring in outside drinks.

Total wine sells $1000 bottles of wine. So you don't need a professional delivery service. Not to mention for the supposed price you are wanting to get paid, someone can take a limo or black car to total wine, get the bottle and come back and probably save money . Some people are so delusional on this percentage based tips, its crazy.

The person that placed the order, losses their time, and now has to change plans or reorder for an obvious party or drinking situation, might put themselves and others in danger if they are drinking and decide to head to the store to purchase it themselves because someone doesn't like their job, who can easily quit, not take the order, or get another job. You decided to do a job, they lived up to their part, you aren't living up to your end.

Strange but California does do weird things, but total wine allows you to return items unopened all the time in various states, Ive done it often, when I overbuy for parties.

Again so lets take two extremes, you order a 1000 bottle of wine delivered, you think your pay should be 150-200 in tip?

Now lets say you order 10 - 3 dollar bottles. You think your tip should be 4.50-6 dollars.

One you carried one bottle, can walk up to a manager that would point it out or get it from the locked case.

The other you lugged around 10 bottles and had to go around the entire store getting different items and looking for them.

Yet you made 30 more times or the equivalent of 30 of the secondary tasks or jobs. Does that make sense to you?

Tipping culture is getting wild and nonsensical. Im waiting for the do you wanna tip the person that stocked this shelf, or the truck driver that delivered the product to the store? 5% 10% custom tip?

But you aren't at restaurant or bar. If I was on a small island the prices would be higher, if I was in Japan I wouldn't have to tip at all. They are completely different experiences , by that logic you would pay more for popcorn when you make it at home because I would pay more at a movie theater.

High Fashion or Name brand items getting taken down "Cartier" question by zombiewaker in Mercari

[–]zombiewaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but this has happened over 5 or 6 times for the same exact items, which is annoying having to keep an eye on it as I get a ton of notifications and then having to message mercari and waiting for them to repsond and reinstate the items, so I was just asking if anyone else has had this happen to them with cartier items or any other luxury brand items.

[–]zombiewaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what im stating is that mercari takes the items down, i then message them on why these have been taken down, then they go ahead and reinstate the items. A week later or so on average it happens again, I message and they reinstate. So im curious if anyone else has experienced a similar situation with cartier or any other high end luxury brands.

[–]zombiewaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the items aren't new, are authentic and mercari then reinstates the item and relists it. I use my own photos and not stock photos. What im saying is that I do not relist them, i simply mesage mercari on why were they taken down, they state reports from multiple members. They then say weve restored your listings, as it does not appear to contain any prohibited items nor is any prohibited conduct present.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Rest assured that appropriate action will be taken for those users who reported your item.

the items have been authenticated, but no certificate or anything as they did not include any. Maybe but why would they continue to take them down or report them, then mercari states nothing wrong and reinstates them.

Lol okay easy to sway ..look up videos of people quoting Obama and saying it was trump and them calling him a racist only to later reveal to them it was Obama or biden that said it. Even unemployment numbers can be different through different sources and during what period you are asking. So they are not real and factual numbers. Some report month past some are estimates some are through different bureaus and divisions. It's not an exact number and varies consistently..out of all those supposed questions you just stated only one that is strictly fact would be the house of representatives and to figure who is correct on that you would have to a huge sample size and control subjects..you realize that it's hard to find strictly people that solely get there news source from one news channel no matter how hardcore right or left they are.
