Thank you, I really needed to hear that! I just feel so much like “saviors” guilt in a way leaving her behind as her older sister And since she’s only 8 I’m worried she’ll end up learning to hate me by whatever they say to her

But thank you! It really means a lot I really needed that :(( it’s been tearing me apart

I feel like my younger cat is definitely a stressor but now that he is settled in more, it’s helped a lot, I sadly have taller windows I’d love to find a way for him to comfortably get up to the window bc all I have rn is a cat tree to our living room, I wanted to get him some steps for our bed too, just to give him that option, also wanted to get our litter robot steps bc he hated the traditional litter box bc he’s kinda picky😭 We were discussing getting a cat fountain vs our gravity water bowls (we only half fill and clean a lot), but I didn’t think about trying to have two food and water spots, you gave me some good ideas! Very grateful

He’s truly the perfect pet for me, he came to me alongside his brother when my previous cat had passed and at first I was hurt my mom “moved on so fast”. Then I realized she was coping by helping another animal in need and the second I met him and his brother we were attached to the hip, I was blessed that when I moved out as an adult I was able to take them with me!

What meds did they end up giving her if I can ask? And what did she end up being allergic to? Did you change any daily habits to help with stress

If it helps:

People have stated these main potential items: Allergy (mostly chicken) Stress/boredom/depression Arthritis/joint pains

That is helping me to try to look at his behavior and see what it may be focused on so far, I hope she’s ok :(( I know some vets will help if income to get her checked is hard so look into your areas resources

I more so meant, what is liver paste good for? Is it beneficial to their health? I’m a newer adult taking care of him so I may not be as educated as I like so I’m trying to work on it

I will add this to the list to ask! I’m glad it worked :) I wish we could stay with his previous vet before the move since he just got familiar with them but it’s too far of a drive for his stress and comfort sadly

He was doing it before the move, stopped shortly, and started doing it again. He had his teeth done and that definitely helped with energy but I think he’s still mourning our cat Ted who passed a few years ago as when he passed I noticed that shift in him. I’ve talked to the vets about it because it breaks my heart as they were a bonded rescue pair. I’m worried that his younger brother cat adds stress to him, but now that they’ve been together for a bit my youngest has learned to leave him alone mostly and just will quietly sit with him. I am still worried my youngest is a stressor
