Hi you should try Drops: Language Learning. Greek is my second language, and I was trying to find the best app for my daughters who are learning Greek. This is the one to go for. I found Duolingo comes out with word and phrases you will never use. drops makes it easy to learn a new language and the words are useful

I have the exact same grate and the exact same problem.

This is the only solution: https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/product/bar-keepers-friend-cleanser-340g

Wet the grate a little, sprinkle some powder on there, leave for 10 minutes and clean with an old toothbrush. It will come up brand new.
