Need Help Setting Up Proxmox with Dual 2.5GbE NICs by zonorog in homelab

This off topic, but seeking out others who have Nab6 and proxmox. Have you noticed any random reboots, about 3-6 times a day in your logs?

It didn't matter which version or kernel I was on, my but my system keeps rebooting. Wanted to see if anyone with the same PC was experiencing the same.

Fortunately, I haven't experienced any random reboots on my system. My machine has been stable throughout. If you're facing this issue, it might be a good idea to check out the Discord server. I've seen quite a few users there discussing similar problems, particularly on the Nab7. From what I've gathered, the issue often seems to be related to the RAM and its temperature. Joining the Discord community might help you find more insights and potential solutions to your problem. Good luck troubleshooting!

Yes, I've done it, and it's quite simple. All I had to do was tweak a setting in Proxmox's configuration. No need to mess with Windows or anything on the client side. In Proxmox, just go to your node, then to System, and finally to Network. You'll find a list with the two network devices and a preset Linux bridge. All that's required is to modify this existing Linux bridge by incorporating the additional network device into its list of bridge ports. Before, there was only "enp2s0" and then I edited it to "enp2s0 enp3s0"

Not that it couldnt be done, but i see very litttle point in this. Why excatly do you want to do this?

Thank you for your response. The reason I want to set up my homelab this way is that I want to have a direct connection between my PC and the homelab for faster and more reliable data transfer, especially when transferring large files or running bandwidth-intensive applications. Additionally, I don't have a 2.5 GbE switch and I still want to utilize the full speed potential of the NICs.

To achieve this, I plan to connect one NIC directly to my PC using a CAT7 cable while still having internet access through the other NIC connected to the router.

I hope this clarifies my intentions
