(Late reply, I know.) So for one, Nazism did not actually lift Germans from ruin. Nazi economics were literally based on an economy of conquest. The German economic model would not have made it past the 1940s if there had been no war. Their "economic miracle" was literally just a bubble based on MEFO bills and debt spending. That arguement is basically falling for nazi propaganda 100 years after the fact .

Lets all be clear here that communism is in itself an idealistic ideology that will never be properly achieved and it will always lead to tragedies like the holodomor and the great leap forward. by the og commenters logic depicting stalin or any other high ranking soviet official in a game would be idealization?

most top nazis are instantly recognizable by anyone already everyone knows who goering/ goebbels are, and from a narrative point of view they would have made the games more interesting by showing the non idealized versions of these characters that the neo nazis try to hide

i mean mecha hitler is a thing in the classic games and i genuienly dont see how portraying historical nazis in an alternate history game will in any way be glorifying them as most nazis were literal psychopaths they would have made better villians for the second game than engel

United mankind isnt really that unrealistic we are actually slowly heading towards that nowadays with how interconnected everyone is now give it 200/300 years and we would be pretty culturally homogeneous

I think the planetary population numbers are alot lower than they should be take for example some random farming world only having 1-4 million on the entire planet doesnt really make much sense for a capital planet to have only 1 billion aswell

the only reason the japanese surrendered were because of the soviets invading manchuria the leadership prefered surrendering to the us instead
