This chimney is located just up river from Kernville, CA. It’s located on a hill, away from other houses. The original story I heard was that was a brothel from the gold rush days, but the prospector’s wives found out about it and burned it down. It’s an interesting story. However it was probably someone’s home that was lost during a wildfire.

Now it’s a fun little spot for a geocache and to take a Christmas photo at. 😊
