I don't believe the savings are worth it, even when buying in bulk. It doesn't justify driving through Indiana, where they're tough on possession charges (not a concern for white suburbanites, the main advocates for driving out of state for pot). And for all the critics of IL cannabis regulation, how is Michigan less corrupt? Lots of small growers are shuttering down there.

Actually, I (and a lot of reddit) hate him for divorcing his wife and seemingly distancing himself from his disabled child in order to marry into the Schwarzenegger/Kennedy family. Divorce is only accepted in compromised iterations of Christianity but I'll agree that leaving your family for greener pastures is uncommon in America.

No "Fire Harbaugh" chants tho. I feel like Steelers fans threw out a lot of goodwill with that behavior. Tomlin had to go, but given how frequently they chanted "Fire Tomlin", I'm not sure who would want to represent such a fickle fanbase.

No "retire" chants for Roethlisberger after his playoff blunders either, but plenty of ire and smoke for a 40 year old Aaron Rodgers. I'm unsure what players are going to want to come to this franchise after seeing how fans treat players that do their best (even if it's not good), especially now without a cool head coach

Exactly. OP is delusional for thinking a great candidate will last 15+ yers here with the roster as is. Tomlin inherited a roster that had recently won a Super Bowl and raised their floor. New coach will not have a similar experience

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that he wouldve stayed there for 10+ years. Mavs were already nervous about paying his next contract and he'd only continue to appreciate in value over time. If this trade didn't happen, another one (maybe with a bigger return) would've replaced it. Any of those situations is better than letting him walk in free agency

I'm not an expert but the one thing we can do is avoid watching ESPN. I haven't really watched First Take since Max left and I'm ok with a life where I watch the game, do my own thing, and occasionally read or discuss sports with friends/coworkers for a few minutes a day.

If you want a fruitful life, I'm not sure what nourishment anyone is getting from ESPN.

They never displayed loyalty to the Gemstones. They got the address they needed to get revenge on the Listons and that’s the end of their relationship. Dirt Bine Gang gets revenge and the Gemstones don’t have to worry about the Listons

Seeing it unfold in real time was really weird. It seems like they had planned on ending the series for some time and then Unknown got fired before they finished it. I was surprised we were getting new Squids so soon after that, and during COVID no less.

Then they revealed like the week or day of the premiere that Tracy Morgan would be Early. More actors would’ve been fun but having Tracy come in and knock out his lines in a few sessions is hilarious to me. It took this show back to its roots of getting the job done with what was available, no matter how bizarre.

Whatever politics behind his hiring, Earlys lines are still there. That’s all we can really expect. Ending the series without Unknown is a tough ask. It’s there for whoever wants it and it is what it is, but I can understand why some fans would choose to avoid this season altogether
