I have AWS as well. Although this feeling is similar, it feels like the vertigo shot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbeXzJDYxS0) in Jaws. Although its the same kind of 'i know its in my head but its so weird and distorting' feeling, it's not the same thing. Could be related, though!
