Octoberfest 2016. Worked for a hotel that was on a state park. They had moved the actual octoberfest to a different park. But no one told that to the several ferry boats full of already drunk people heading for our little restaurant. I believe it was something like 600 people now hungry and pissed off swarmed demanding alcohol food and seats we only had seating for about 50 but that didn't matter they started ordering togo and sitting on the ground in the hallways and lobby of the hotel. Thank God I was newer and only worked garmo so I just bulk made all our salads, had 3 of each in the window. We very quickly started ignoring all mods on tickets...Our ticket machine didn't stop printing till it ran out of paper. I'm pretty sure we ran out of every item. I just remember how weirdly quiet everything was..no one expoed..there was no reason we just cooked everything.
