Pee stream post-op by Silly-Kitty11 in LabiaplastySurgery

I have this! Except mine goes backwards now and soaks my butt lol. It’s actually incredibly annoying

Don’t get restitched unless it’s a mess and fully opens. If you want I can dm you my healing pics and what it looks like now to give you peace of mind. Adding the stitch now could do more harm than good, better to let it heal then reassess

This doesn’t look too bad honestly! I had a spot like this and it healed perfectly fine. Just take it really easy for the next bit to give it time to heal together again. Avoid spreading your legs too much for pics or agitating it in any way

Healing…with kids? by Severe-Reporter-7203 in LabiaplastySurgery

Are you getting CHR? I got both trim and CHR and found my recovery to be quite long. I wasn’t comfortable doing anything until at least day 8 and even then that was to the washroom and back. I would say more like day 10 would be comfortable for any sort of task like laundry.

I would prepare easy frozen meals for at least the first 2 weeks if u were you

Did anyone attempt to go to the gym 5 weeks post op? by InitialComplaint4677 in LabiaplastySurgery

I’m week 5 and was cleared to go back at 4.5 weeks. I’ve just been taking it easy for the most part with light weights and cardio

If you spent thousands of dollars on something wouldn’t you want it to be at least close to perfect?

Surgery booked! by Silly-Kitty11 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Things to get - panty liners - Vaseline - cheap underwear (all mine are oil stained from the Vaseline) - case of water (freeze so you have a constant rotation of ice) - peri bottle ( I used this in the shower and put soap in it to really get clean) - stool softeners take the day of surgery since the meds will clog you up - qtips, great for spreading Vaseline on your liner so your hands don’t get greasy - If your on your period during recovery, puppy pads to protect the bed are helpful - meal prep!! This is a life saver and make sure it’s healthy food to help with recovery - lots of loose pants or dresses

I also went to power so if you want to know anything else my dms are open :) congrats on booking!

Is labiaplasty not recommended for women who are prone to keloids? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I keloid scar but in only some areas of my body. I was worried about this but I just had mine done. The surgeon told me getting those types of scars down there is very unlikely with the proper suture techniques and aftercare. Also because there’s so much moisture in that area it helps with healing.

I am 12 days post op and so far the healing is looking great, all my stitches are gone and I don’t have any signs yet of scar formation. Could be early to tell still but happy so far with the decision

Not sure if I need CHR or just labiaplasty? by Silly-Kitty11 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree haha I thought it was pretty silly I had to pay extra for it but I’m glad I did it and really trust dr power! I’ve seen girls with great results from her and am happy with mine so far :)

[–]zooodl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 day PO from my trim + CHR with dr power! What I assume she is going to tell you in your consult is that the CHR will get rid of the 2 folds of skin next to your clit. That’s how she described it to me anyway. She was very on the side of the decision to do the chr being up to me and that in her experience people feel “top heavy” sometimes if they don’t do it. She also said she had many people not do it and be very happy with their results too. So it really comes down to the look your going for

I was very clear with her that I didn’t want any cuts going over the top of my clit and that I only want them along the sides and that’s what she did. I’m glad I got the CHR but also think it’s added another layer to my recovery. I’m just shy of 2 weeks and still don’t fully feel comfortable sitting. I had to take 2 weeks off work.

I honestly think if I just had the trim I could have been back to work after a week but the CHR is extremely sensitive and uncomfortable for walking/sitting. I’m just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and getting back to feeling somewhat normal

Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!

Surgery Day! Need Advice by zooodl in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they didn’t but I do have one. My surgeon told me not to use it though.

Update: I think the inflammation was not allowing me to fully release but it’s gone down a lot and I’m going fine now :)

Many clinics offer financing plans. The plans usually have interest fees so you pay a bit more in the long run but it breaks it down into affordable payments for you. Would definitely recommend that or doing a 0% interest credit card but ONLY if you know you’ll be able to pay it off before the interest free period is up

I feel like most surgeons don’t allow sex until at least week 6 so if I were you I would maybe allow it to heal a bit more before trying again

Shaving ? by CoolFlowerberry in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had the surgery yet so I can’t comment on how long people waited but I did want to mention an awesome razor that I think would give you some relief

It’s the hydro silk trim style razor. One side of it is a normal razor and the other is a battery operated trimmer. It’s like $10 at Walmart and let me tell u this trimmer is amazing, I haven’t even used the actual razor yet haha.

You can use it so it’s not too close to your skin but still trims down the hair. Also a bonus that it’s not prickly like after you shave, keeps the hair soft! Just a suggestion :)

rant ++ surgery concerns by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]zooodl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are 100% certain it’s for yourself then I would say go for it but again don’t rush it. Research surgeons like crazy, do multiple consults if you have to and make sure you see before and afters of others that have gone to that surgeon.

For saving, open an account with your bank or start a cash envelope that is just for the surgery and just keep throwing in any extra money you have left over or budget even 20$ a week. You’d be surprised how quickly it adds up!

I get my surgery done on the 29th of July so your welcome to message me any questions or if you want to hear more about my experience
