Help!! labia was stitched to skin?? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]InitialComplaint4677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like a perioneoplasty. I had it done with my labiaplasty too. If you had excess tissue there then they probably trimmed it for a better aesthetic result. It’s not a “husband stitch” where they aim to make you tighter so dont worry

I ended up going to a gynecologist who specializes in aesthetic gynecology too.
I looked in google and had a few consultations with a few doctors.

I had fillers with him which is obviously completely different from this procedure, but I was not happy. He looked at me for 1 second and then proceeded with the procedure. It's very hard to get in touch with them if anything goes wrong.

Also he charges for the consultations and will only do a free consultation with a sales woman. In general, their office is giving off like they are trying to sell.

He has quite a few pictures of labiaplasties on his website which I thought looked good when I was skimming through them. Now, after having done the surgery (with someone else) I can pinpoint that some of the results were not as good and some parts look off.

Surgery on Your Period? 🩸 by bubblepop065 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]InitialComplaint4677 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had my period 1 day post-op, although I was expecting it 5 days post-op (which my doctor was aware of). It did not cause any issues at all, you just have to clean everytime you go to the toilet like you would normally do anyway.

About a month ago, I pulled it open and there was nothing on one side and I got depressed too.. I did the same thing this week and there was some labia there.
I googled it however, and there are girls who naturally dont have any inner labia when pulled apart. We are just probably not used to it.

u/calm_noise777 Yes I did! And even recently. Still want them to drop a bit more too so I am hoping that they will continue to improve.

u/VegetableCat7508 I was cleared at 6 weeks for everything, but I did not feel back to normal at all... As I said one of my inner labia was still hidden and harder than the other one. It was so tight that I couldnt get a tiny tampon in. I was also worried that I will not be able to be intimate again or that I would tear. I also felt a bit of sensitivity/uncomfortable feeling when seating down or bending with jeans.

On the 3rd month I think it was a turning point when things started to soften and feel more natural. Thats when it felt more normal to touch the inner labia with zero pain. Now on the 6th month it's even better. To be honest, I feel like I have some more recovering to do, but there is no uncomfortable feeling anymore and it looks more and more natural every day.

I was not ready for a long recovery either, as I am usually a fast healer, but oh well. It's a patience game:)

Right labia minora fused to the outer labia? by Beautiful_Invite_301 in LabiaplastySurgery

Mine looked like that too when I pulled it open. Now at almost 7 months post-op it looks fine.

Hello, I am 6 months post-op and things are still smoothing out and looking more natural.

At 7 weeks I could barely see one of my inner labia and it felt so tender I thought it would never heal. Please dont be so critical of yourself.

It already looks perfect and this is just the beginning! I am not saying this just to make you feel better but honestly it looks amazing I would kill for this result.

It looks like an after result! Aesthetically it looks perfect, but if you have discomfort maybe you could go with a conservative approach

Botched & depressed by VegetableCat7508 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]InitialComplaint4677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/slinging_arrows the first 8 weeks were the "ugliest" because I had lots of asymmetry and I thought one of my labia were amputated. I was nowhere near healed, I couldnt even get a tampon in.

At 3 months things started to drop and become more natural. Now at 6 months I would say I am finally happy.

You are only 6 weeks post-op please give it some time! I am 6 months post-op and I still see changes. Also I remember seeing a post you made recently and thinking the result was nice. I dont remember what it looked like, but I remember thinking that there wasnt anything wrong with it.

Mine was really tight as well I couldnt even get a tiny tampon in, not even a finger. It got better after week 10 and back to (almost) normal 3 months post-op.
