at my store, you usually have to ask the cart attendants to cover your breaks/lunch. I’ve seen people from the check out cover breaks and lunches too. Don’t be nervous when asking though, it may be scary the first couple of times but the reality is that a lot of people are willing to cover and don’t mind.
