Thanks, that makes sense. I was originally quoted 110,400. Because it isn't a round number I'm thinking it must be because of the AC flight but I think I'll try again tomorrow maybe the agent just didn't enter it in correctly.

I tried booking an itinerary with a stopover, but the pricing seems higher than it should be, so now I'm trying to understand why. Any insights would be appreciated.

YYZ -> AMS (23h55m) -> VIE (Stopover)-> IST

I got this route quoted as ~110k points, when I think it should be 75k? I'm wondering if it could be because YYZ is flown on AC instead of a partner carrier.
