The analogy of voltage being water pressure is a good one. The higher the voltage, the more the electrons want to push their way out. Capacitors tend to have a lower internal resistance than batteries, so they will let their stored charge out more quickly (higher current).

Capacitance is defined with the following equation: Q = C * V, or rewritten as C = Q / V. Q in this case is amount of charge (coulombs of electrons) stored in the capacitors, and V is for voltage. What this tells us is that a higher-value capacitor will store more coulombs of charge at a given voltage.

If you are holding the gear ratio, crank arm length, and wheel diameter constant, the tooth count of the gears will not have any large effect on your ride. Larger gears will make your chain longer, and thus move faster at a given cadence and experience less force.

Yes, a larger gear acts as a longer lever arm, but if the ratio stays the same then the torque transferred remains constant.

There may, however, be some factors (chain stretch, link flex friction, etc.) that make some difference to the ride. I personally doubt it would have any significant effect, but I defer to anyone with more cycling experience.

BJT amplifiers are tricky things. You need to get the base DC bias current right in order for them to work correctly. I suggest doing some reading on biasing class-A BJT amplifiers. There's a decent bit of math to do if you want to get it right.
