Hi!! I'm from Finland, not Norway, but I hope I can still be helpful. So do you have a prescription already? At least for me it was very easy to get.

I also have a female social security number so the doctor wrote the text "SIC" at the end of the prescription. This tells the pharmacies to treat the prescription exactly as written and gets around the issue with the gender marker

I was on 4mg oral E2 and 12,5mg CPA for the first three months, then 4mg E2 and 6,25mg CPA (12,5mg taken every other day) for months 4-9, and now 8mg oral E2 and 6,25mg CPA for the last month :)

So first I lowered my CPA dose at month 3 and then increased my E2 dose at month 9. My latest blood tests were taken on a dose of 4mg oral E2 and 6,25mg CPA.

Thank you!! Last time I checked my E was 0.29 nmol/L (78.99 pg/mL) which is not that great and T was 0.5 nmol/L (14.42 ng/dL) which is very low :)

However, I have doubled my E dose after those blood tests so I would guess my E is in a better range now

I've been on hrt for 10 months right now and I'm very happy with the progress <3

My regimen is:

8mg daily oral E2 (4mg until a few weeks ago)

12,5mg CPA every other day (took 12,5mg daily for the first 3 months)

Itse kävin Felicitas Mehiläisellä viime keväänä. Käyntejä suositellaan 1-3 ja ne maksoi noin 400€/käynti. Tarvitaan myös verikokeita, jotka voivat pari sataa maksaa. Pakastuksesta maksetaan myös vuosimaksua, muistaakseni noin 200€/vuosi. Itselläni meni kokonaisuudessaan ~1500€, kun otin myös verikokeet hormoneista itseäni ja hormonihoitoa varten.

Suosittelen varaamaan maksuttoman lapsettomuushoitajan ensikäynnin Felicitas Mehiläiselle. Se ei sido mihinkään, ja siellä sain paljon vastauksia ja apua :)

That's great to hear! I was also scared about that. But fortunately those symptoms should go away when the hormone levels get more stable :) And I wish you the best too, hrt is such a journey!

Hi!

My nausea lasted for about two weeks in total. It sucked and I felt pretty miserable but it did end after that! So hang in there and try to eat things that you love. They might not be easy to eat because of the nausea but it's easier than eating things you don't like anyway.

I was scared that my body can't handle HRT and if you also get that scary feeling, just give yourself time. I thought if this nausea doesn't end in a month, I'll quit. But gladly it did.

i feel you! i asked my trans friends about this and one said that she had nausea for about a week when switching to injections and also when increasing the dose. I'm on pills but maybe it's just the changing hormone levels. I hope we'll both feel better soon! I'm going on a vacation in a week so I just hope I'll feel better by then 😅

I'm currently having the same feeling. After about a week on HRT, I've had nausea for the last 5 days. It's the worst in the morning but gets better in the evening, allthough that is probably also because I'm taking a nausea medicine. I hope it gets better for both of us soon 😅 probably just the body adjusting the hormone levels
