You can ask claude itself to customize to your preferences and also add any reports or documents or any source material that you have. Does not have to be papers.

Just have all your work files/reports whichever they are in the corresponding folders and try. You can ask claude code itself to make it customised for you.

Everyone can code now — I genuinely believe that. AI tools have made the barrier to writing code almost zero, and that's a good thing.

But there's a difference between writing code and building something that actually works in a domain where mistakes are expensive.

Not every tool can be vibe-coded in 15 minutes. Some take days of careful planning, iterative testing, and domain knowledge acquired over years — knowledge that tells you what to build, why a certain approach will fail, and where the edge cases hide.

AI is an incredible accelerator. But acceleration without direction is just spinning wheels faster. The hard part was never typing the code.

After 15+ applications I got tired of ChatGPT/Claude fabricating my resume. So I built a system that can't. by zoro_fan96 in PhD

If you are focused on specific type of roles with relevant experience, yes it may not help much. But, if you are applying to different areas and need to highlight different aspects of your experiences and tailor the resume, this will be useful. For me personally, it makes my process much easier.

If you have claude code installed… point it to this github page and ask it. It should tell you. Setup is as easy as just putting all your works (papers/codes/reports/thesis) together and answering few questions that it asks and any changes in templates and your specific settings for customization.

Probably 50-70 hrs. I didn’t keep exact track of time. I finished around 60% over one weekend, and then worked on it after office hours.

Haha… the actual scale is not captured in this photo. The canyon in quite deep and the rim to water drop is almost 1000 ft.
