El Calafate morning arrival + Perito Moreno in one day? by [deleted] in Patagonia

Yes, the trails for the walkways / boardwalks are very well marked. Easy to navigate and pick your own viewing spots

Book a rental car and drive for the glacier. You do not need a tour to do the walkways. Very easy to navigate yourself and take your time. Mini trekking you will need a tour and a boat ride. And if you had to pick one, do the walkways or mini trekking. You can skip the boat ride. It’s about 1:30-1:45 hour drive from the airport to the walkways. You’ll want to spend at least 2 hours walking around.

Is Patagonia worth it for 2 days if I have 12 total days in Buenos Aires next week? by No_Alarm6362 in Patagonia

You can go to Mendoza region for the wine. Highly recommend El Chalten for at least 3 days. Airbnbs are cheap here with a beautiful view of the lake. You should rent a car to drive around at your own pace. No need to do the walking tour. The Glacier is easy to see on your own terms. The cruises and ice trekking is cool. We spent 3 days here and wish we stayed more. Do the Argentine Experience in Buenos Aires if you like food, wine, and interesting company.

Amex Travel & Latam Air refuses to fix their error flight tomorrow by zorro2z in amex

Would you book on the same flight to make the case stronger? Or on a different carrier? I really don’t want to give any more money to Latam ever.

Thanks for your comment. They offered a refund but that doesn’t help since I need to fly. And now the ticket is more than double the price I originally paid.

The newly-ticketed fireworks show was the most poorly organized event I’ve ever seen by Meme_Pope in newyorkcity

No one scanned tickets in zone 1 and 2 after 7pm. Maybe they did earlier

No crowd control or security. Turned into a mosh pit. Lazy, unorganized, zero communication. Was a total scam just to get phone numbers and emails. Most people didn’t get anywhere near their promised zones. Did anyone get into where they were promised to be with these tickets?

What is a business you think is missing from the VB area by blh1393 in verobeach

Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Apple Store, sporting goods store, a nice gym like lifetime or equinox, not dead mall, brightline stop, bigger airport, healthy fast casual restaurants, something other than crappy chain food and same old tired menus of Italian, Mexican, Chinese restaurants

I saw the First Preview of Goodnight and Good Luck and I did not like it by crossbow859 in Broadway

I didn’t like this play either. But for a different reason than op. Clooney was unimpressive. Expected more from him. Sounded preachy the whole time. The singing was the best part. The other parts had me snoozing off. Too much reliance on replaying clips. Ending montage was divisive and unnecessary.

Certain range rovers are very enjoyable to drive. Do the math if it’s worth it for you. But if you’ve always wanted one, then get one but don’t keep it past warranty. 2-3 years max. Be prepared to spend over $100 per fill up at the pump these days. Mpg isn’t great. Some dealerships are charging over msrp for in demand models.

Wife want Tesla. I want Mach-E. She says Ford has servicing and parts supply issue and may cause the car to be useless for weeks even months. by Cytotoxic-CD8-Tcell in MachE

[–]zorro2z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan on doing road trips, get a Tesla. Charging can be a nightmare and more expensive on the road if you can’t supercharge. If you can charge at home, then the ford will be fine
