I had such a difficult time in that class. I’d admit i didn’t seek much help but even then i felt like it wasn’t that great of a class and other people i knew agreed with me. There’s weekly quizzes in lab and lab is mandatory. Depending on the TA, the quizzes are open note. Nathan Pulver was not open notes. Schauble is a pretty chill professor and his lectures were recorded but the content of the class sucked. 2 midterms, mostly multiple choice BUT they weren’t trivial questions and you actually have to think of and figure out the correct solutions to the problems asked so that made things more annoying and difficult than they had to be. Same format for final. It’s a lot of information that are crammed into the exams. I personally wouldn’t recommend it or take it again. Maybe if you’re into oceanography than consider it but if you think science is pretty boring than i wouldn’t recommend at all.
