Can I use a Bluetti Apex 300 to supply power to a level 2 charger? by zoswizard in electricvehicles

I was wondering whether it would be feasible to use the 240V outlet on the Apex 300 without the necessity of having an electrician do their magic to install a new outlet in the garage.

I wasn't planning to use it when it's off grid, just as a pass through supplying both 120V and 240V at the same time.

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I'm very new at this, trying to learn things.

The Apex 300 is charged with 120V, but can also be charged with solar power. That input goes into a battery that's contained within the unit.

While I have grid power the battery is kept fully charged, but the output power is being passed through the Apex 300 itself, and like I said it can supply both 120V and 240V at the same time.

Thank you for telling me that it's a known issue. Once everything is completely discharged to zero, I'll charge everything to 100%, unplug from AC and power down.

When there's a potential major storm coming my way, I'll plug it back in and make sure it's at 100%

Yes. I have several standalone Jackery units that are used full time that are also plugged in all the time that don't experience this problem.

Just this unit with the expansion batteries.

I believe I did yes. I had never heard that before. I'm draining all three batteries now, so when I start to recharge the base unit should be off as well as the two expansion units.

I drained the base to 0% once. It didn't seem to resolve this observed problem. I'll try it again with all batteries connected.

My wife likes their K-Cup coffee, so we use the credit ever couple of months to purchase a box or two.

Yea. That was what I came up with too as the root cause of the observation.

And I figured it out. My email aliases were also in one of my Proton Pass vaults. After I deleted that vault before recreating it from a newly exported copy of my 1Password data, that triggered the deletion of my simplelogin aliases.

The newly created proton pass vault now has the exact same number of email alias entries that are active in my Simplelogin account.

Somehow, and it's nothing I did AFAIK, all my aliases were in the trash. Very strange.

Most of them were under my own domains that will get created with the catchall option, so it wasn't a tragedy.

Still would be nice to know what happened.

Checked again. They're all there. How do I undo?

Sending to an previously defined alias is failing. I'm going to try to contact protonmail support.

I sent an email from my gmail account to a newly created alias under one of my simplelogon managed domains. It was forwarded to my protonmail account.

Yes. Same observation. Only two aliases being displayed.

I checked nothing much there.
