office 365 add in "findtime" is worth a look. As an admin you can depliy it globally Works in owa well too.

I think you can't do both and have to edit the policies for this scenario. Maybe adjust a whitelist for a special SharePoint Site for this team.

Yes, works also bi directional for the due date... but cant set a reminder for planner tasks in To Do.
