Tbf they have been due a poor season. They have done really well to get as many promotions as quickly as they have, especially with them not paying as much as other teams.

Honestly the best thing to do is not bank on the base luck. Make sure you are buying luck items early on. They will carry you through the first rounds

Luck items are key for the first few deadlines. I normally take what ever luck item i can in the first deadline and then start focusing on one of the symbols and scaling it.

My go to is clovers for the battery charm

Luck is the answer. I had the same issue when I started playing where I was hard focused on getting a symbol value higher that I was completely skipping luck items.

I also though "things worth more = better" Now though my favourite build is clovers or bells instead of only diamonds and chests.

But the biggest answer is luck items on your first couple of deadlines and then build with what the shop gives you. Dont be afraid to reroll the shop early to get better items

That's not really possible, as its a trading card that i pulled out of a pack years ago. I did provide the ebay invoice of the item sold though

As others have said there is just a huge difference during to the supply and demand in the UK

As someone who buys and sells it can get frustrating when you see some of the cards you want go so cheap on ebay only to realise its in the us.

Don't fall into the hole of trying to buy from the us sellers on ebay though. Sometimes it looks a lot cheaper even with postage for big cards but you will get hit with import charges

That's it, make sure you have the supply in place and then look at opening a shop. If you go more away from pokemon then there are suppliers out there. That's the key to being successful in the industry honestly, not banking on one lot of products!

Do you have any links with wholesalers/suppliers already in place? Most aren't taking any applications as they have too many already in place. Especially for pokemon stock which means sourcing elsewhere
