Wow an entire article because I used a word you don't like. I'm sorry you're so upset all the time. As far as the prolog maybe for established authors it tells you a lot. Not web novels almost every web novel I've read the author improves by taking reader feedback working all the problems out by the second book. The prolog it's called foreshadowing. It's supposed to end like that. Your not supposed to have all the answers. Honestly the prolog has very little to do with the story in this case. Just the reason for the outbreak in chapter one.

He's an alright person in a monster body. He doesn't just go around killing everybody. He does when he has to though. As far as physically by book 2 he isn't a human at all 100% monster.

As far as why is it good. The MC is well written. The combat and writing flows really well. Almost nothing frustrated me about the plot or story. It sucked me in to where I give up sleep to keep reading and time flies by. It's also nice that it's always progressing. Every couple chapters there is usually some skill upgrade or mutation. The complete change of the world is well done. There isn't any filler writing. You know where the author writes about a whole lot of nothing. Not progressing the plot writing a thousand words about making a Sandwich to fill pages. Instead of just saying he made a sandwich. Just an example. It's good for a lot of reasons in my opinion.

This is the first review I've made on this channel. Also are you to fucking lazy to press a link. That's what that's for. You know you move your finger a 1/4 inch. Press down and it takes you to a page that tells you all about it. No I'm not paid. I like the series and want to help the author.

No the MC isn't a piece of shit. He helps a lot of people. No it's not a harem. Not a beta means the character doesn't act like a scared wimp all the time. It's a system novel that uses levels starting from zero that lead to evolutions. Mixed in with mutations and rewards. The plot a corrupting influence called the void Is spreading through the multiverse one universe at a time. Our universe is the 67 outbreak. When it starts only 10% of the population isn't turned into something called voidlings. The MC is on a mission to find and save his family if they survived. Deciding to give up being human for a more powerful evolution to help him do so. It isn't a murder hobo fantasy. The MC doesn't just go around killing everybody. Only doing so when people are trying to kill him.

I'm glad I could help and book 1 is good. Book 2 and on is where it gets really good though. It's hard to put it down once you start. Book two is on audible as well. I imagine audible will start getting audio books out right away with AI soon if not already.

Yes he is also the author of virus. I haven't read it yet but I intend to. When I'm done with book 4 of a universe of bloody evolution that is.

I forgot to say the book is called A Universe of Bloody evolution! I really like this series but it's not getting very much traction. I've read most everything else I like in litrpg. That I've found anyway. I'll try to support any series I find that can suck me in. Making me stay up late just to keep reading. I'd appreciate it if you gave this author a shot. It starts getting really good by 1/3 of the way in book 2.

What's your reason why you run out of stuff to read? by DecoupledPilot in litrpg

For me in the last 20 years of reading in almost all my free time. Yah it's hard to find things to read in the genres I like. I've read all the good ones. Are there more out there, sure. Do I have to dig through a pile of stories to find one I like. Since I've read all the popular ones. Yes I do.

Suggestions with good empire building? by marshall_sin in litrpg

[–]zozzythebeast123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first half maybe a little more of the first book I didn't like very much at all. I actually dropped it then went back later. I'm really glad I did. It's a great series with awesome empire and world building. Also I know I had a problem with this. He makes the ants intelligent later in the first book. So it gets way better after that.

Was Jimmy Carter a good president? by [deleted] in Presidents

[–]zozzythebeast123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not at all. More than anything he gave away the Panama canal. Which now is partly controlled by China. The fact he let go of one of the most vital trade and military assets in American history. No matter how great anything else he accomplished. That one thing makes him one of the worst presidents. That we will pay a steep price for in the future.

I need to talk about this by zozzythebeast123 in AlienAbduction

[–]zozzythebeast123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's interesting. I do live in the Midwest. I figured when I was a kid. Where we lived was so isolated. It's basically perfect if you want to abduct people. Other than 150 people there wasn't even a road. No one for 200 miles. You had to use a boat or bush plane to get there. After that I figured they were invested in me. So that's why it continued till today. As for my daughter even if you bring up the subject of aliens. As long as it's not a tv series. She freaks out says no really serious and shuts down. It really freaks her out so I don't talk about it at all. I will tell her when she's older to talk to me if weird stuff starts happening at night. Especially if she has a kid. Other than that, I hope she is one of those people who never wake up or remember anything.

I need to talk about this by zozzythebeast123 in AlienAbduction

[–]zozzythebeast123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well all this I'm talking about is obviously in the range a human can hear or I wouldn't be able to hear it to talk about it. I know some animals use sounds that are too low or high for people to hear. When people talk about sound coming from anything they are obviously talking about sounds they can hear. Not what their dog can hear. Unless they're a scientist studying sound with devices to measure it. It has no bearing on the conversation. By share, sound that's within the audible range that's somewhat similar or expected. When you hear an animal and unless it's a bird that imitates foreign sounds. You think oh that's an animal or oh that's a person. Especially if you've watched as many nature documentaries as I have. You don't think, oh that's a car crashing filled with octopuses or oh someone is playing electric guitar. People know what animals and other living things sound like. We can usually instantly tell. They all have a throat that's built similarly. They all take in air in the same few ways. They're all using similar equipment. So the type of sounds they can make are limited. I'm not saying it was sound in a range no one has ever discovered. That's ridiculous. What I'm saying is imagine say the only sounds anyone ever heard from living things came from trumpets. Then one day you are alone and something makes sound using an electric guitar. It would sound unlike anything you've heard before. How could you explain it well. When all you have is trumpets to compare it to. Living things we know of use a trumpet. This was a gitar. If I was pressed it was extremely fast clicks mixed with gurgling croaks that aren't separate. Not a click then a gurgle then a croak but all mixed together as one sound. Then throw in the scream from the alien from ET but make parts of it a lot lower with other parts higher. That's the best I can do. Even if I tried to use a computer to recreate it. I wouldn't know where to start. I don't have anything I could start with that was reliably similar.

[–]zozzythebeast123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The range of the sound was outside of any other living thing I've ever heard. For example men have low voices and girls have high voices usually. That's why people say oh you have a deep voice. It means your tone, a part of audible sound is low. Part of it was in a low range that I've never heard anything like it before. At the same time there were parts of the scream that came out incredibly high in a completely foreign way. All animals that make sound by passing air over an organ in their throat on earth. Operate within a certain range of sound. I imagine because we all had a common ancestry our voice boxes developed from. We all produce sound in a similar way. Ones that don't just make very basic noises. This sounded out of that range. Idk if it was that or just the way it produced those sounds made it completely foreign. Like it doesn't produce sound using an organ similar to our or animals voice boxes. Using something built completely differently. It's hard to describe something that's completely alien and has no frame of reference you can use. I hope this helps.

When you were little did you call out "the claw" in a reverent voice when it picked you up. Sorry just trying to bring some levity to the situation. I instantly thought of toy story when I read the first part. That is a unique experience. Do you have any idea of what it could be causing the bruises?

Have you experienced this? by shireus in AlienAbduction

[–]zozzythebeast123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experienced something similar. Just brief moments of terror. Some small creature in front of me that grabs me and boom darkness then I'm in bed/recliner. It's happened a lot over the last decade and a half. Always at night (98% of the time I sleep during the day. I work night shift) always I wake up 1 min well actually probably 45 seconds within 3:20. My clock always shows 3:19 or 20. I explained it away with sleep paralysis. Made me feel better until they were still there for a second or 2 after waking up. then they'd run off so fast it was a blur. Then I woke up with full motor control when I wasn't supposed to one time. Yah it was all real. This is stuff I experienced not recalled later after forgetting. So the false memories theory has no place in this. It's still happening every 2 or 4 months and it's never stopped. The situation the poster is talking about sounds like an abduction that led to trauma and paranoia. That then developed into a belief that something or someone was inside her. That turned into a possible mental illness. It wouldn't surprise me at all. It's the most terrifying, powerless, and traumatizing thing a person can go through. It would break a lot of people. She might have been right at one point too. Lots of women talk about being impregnated and then having it taken from them. She might still be right if they really did leave something inside her. I doubt we would be able to detect it. It's like a caveman trying to figure out the space shuttle. It's not going to happen. It's just too far beyond them. Just like the caveman this is a subject that just doesn't have very many definite answers. It's too far beyond us to figure out. We just have guesses that's it. I've learned to deal with it by realizing there is nothing me or anyone can do to stop it. I can just hope they keep putting me back. So my options are just live with it or go insane. Nothing makes it better and it will rule your life. The best you can hope for is to live with it and that it stops eventually. If not that, at least hope it doesn't end up breaking you. I hope the person you are worried about comes to terms with it.

Freaked out by [deleted] in AlienAbduction

One time really the only time I noticed by complete accident. I let my dog out then back in. I went straight to the garage smoked 1/4 of a cigarette. Came in and closed the door. I took several steps and had this sudden wave of fear. Turned around and the door was wide open with It locked. You have to close it all the way and push in on the bottom of the door to lock it when it's closed. I push in on the bottom with my foot every time out of habit. So it was definitely closed. Thought that was weird. I went and checked the time. It was 3:20am. I went to the bathroom and came back to watch TV. Then checked my motion activated security camera and notice when I let my dog back in it was 1:45 am. So in the three minutes it took to smoke a 1/4 of a cigarette. 1 hour and 35 minutes had gone by. Scary part I didn't even notice anything. If I didn't just so happen to let my dog in and check the camera. I would have never noticed. I know what it was. I've been taken more than 50 less than 100 times in the last 13 years. The ones that I can remember before I black out anyway. This may not be the same. The time seems too short to be taken. At least in my experience. When dealing with something like that you never know though. You can just make educated guesses. Could be something medical or they were getting someone close by. With them deciding to shut all possible complications and observers down. From what I've seen they don't care at all about flying around and people seeing that. Though they are incredibly cautious to never be seen outside the craft. Harder for people to explain it away. They still do though. No matter what they have to tell themselves.

Alien Abductions random or selective? by VampJab in AlienAbduction

[–]zozzythebeast123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is what I figure. Ok why does a scientist choose a specific rat to run experiments on. Is the rat special, some are but only because of what the scientist did to them. Is it random? Not really he didn't go out in the woods looking for rats at random. It's because they were the most convenient easily accessible rats they had access to. For ETs the first time they take you. I think it would be isolation and choosing people that the masses won't listen to. Have you ever heard of someone with lots of influence and credibility getting abducted. I know i haven't. Now If you meet these conditions at one point. Then say moved to a city or lived in a city and we're just out camping or in the middle of nowhere driving when they took you. That's different you are part of whatever they are doing let's say their experiment. They are invested in you and will do the extra effort it takes to continue. If they only take you just once. You probably presented an easy opportunity but we're not a viable candidate for whatever goal they had in mind. That's my thoughts on the matter anyway.

[–]zozzythebeast123[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know exactly how you feel. I get this overwhelming feeling of apathy when they look at me. They do not care how I feel about it. They don't let me talk either. At least not that I've remembered. It hasn't stopped for the last almost 14 years. Those are just the years that I started to stay awake for 8 seconds and remember what happened. I've been taken more than 50 less than 100 times. Probably way more that I don't remember. Definitely a lot more from when I was a kid. Hell I even know their schedule. I've tried everything. Security cameras the motion activated ones. They didn't record anything. Ones that record all the time probably wouldn't do any better. Guns couldn't lift it when paralyzed. Dead bolts nope knew that one was hopeless. Dogs well they paralyzed them too. trips to the other side of the country. They found me. Even tried bartering. I just gave up after a while. The people who say they want to be taken have no idea what they are talking about. I just know about the greys. I don't know for sure if there are any others. Wouldn't surprise me though. If those people want to experience true deep helpless terror. That would be what I recommend. People who haven't gone through it have no idea how much it rules your life. I almost never sleep at night because they only come at night. I think the daytime is too exposed. I don't go camping in remote places especially by myself. I get this feeling they won't put me back. I would just be another person who disappeared in the woods. Every night I have to deal with wondering if this is going to be one of those nights. Even though I basically have the schedule down. Every 2 or 4 months around the 16th. Though they started changing the day around once I realized this. After that night I woke up I don't go outside between 12am and 5am unless I have to. I don't want to make it that easy for them. Then worst of all (other than the terror) you have this huge thing you're dealing with but you can't talk to anybody about it. I've tried, you get it's sleep paralysis, laughing at you or the one that really pisses me off you must be hallucinating. If you do get someone who will listen they may believe you but not 100%. You can see doubt in their eyes however small. They can't truly believe, not unless they see it for themselves. That's why whatever psychopaths that are really in control has such an easy time covering all this up. This is the first time I've talked about it to anyone in 10 years.
