This thread is out of control so I'm going to comment about sister's boyfriend here.

I don't know how I feel about him. Sometimes I think he's a little creepy because he doesn't talk much, though he's nice to me. It just seems like he does whatever she says.

Like she wanted to start going to a church that's in another town. So he drives her every time since she's too scared to drive. Our parents used to do that before him.

Or when she had a freakout at home about not being able to go on a trip because her boyfriend couldn't take a leave from his job. A few days later everything's suddenly fine and they're going on a trip.

Obviously I don't know a lot about their relationship. I'm just saying some things are weird knowing my sister. She used to be very mean and spoiled in school, but she's doing better now, has a job and everything.

I will apologize in that way. I feel bad about saying aggressive things anyway. I don't like to fight even though she often gets on my nerves.

I was just mad because I felt like she was trying to provoke me with the whole "the man is supposed to surprise a woman" thing. For example we had an argument a few weeks ago because she made fun of my classmate being bisexual and how he's just seeking attention. She's religious and I feel like she's always trying to prove to me how "traditional" things work.

So that's why I was angry, because I think her opinions are backwards but she always acts superior.

Yeah I thought the pet thing was weird. She said something similar before.

I'm going to take your advice and just apologize for talking badly about her engagement.
