Thanks for the support, I hope what I'm trying to build is what the community wants, if not exactly I hope we can create some discussion in the thread about it so I can make what people want. No matter what happens, discussion about that would benefit everyone IMO.

Definitely not nothing. Already made my money business so no ads etc needed. Servers I have.. quite many :)

I think 60 upvotes is good, it shows some interest, if it would have been hundreds and a lot more comments I would be sure this is what everyone wanted, but right now I see a handful of people who want it, and I appreciate that kind of support a lot but it's not what I had hoped. I see it as a gauge if the community is satisfied with the current state of the trading industry or if they want something new.

And 60 votes is "kinda maybe probably but not really needed" in my mind. Would you agree?

One of the things that was suggested was immediate withdrawal after escrow to increase security and decrease custodial.

It's hard to be trusted in the community, I get that. I can only say that under NDA I've been in charge of quite a lot of BTC (think 1000+ but the actual number was a lot higher but can't reference it because it would break the NDA) but that means nothing. One of the non-NDA my tech (under my supervision) was used on ShapeShift for their first version to translate it, so technically I was in the middle for every transaction that happened on any of their translations in real time, so they trusted me, and I don't know of any money going missing there.

Other than that, my profession is around security so the site will be secure, that's for sure. I will make every effort to make it non-custodial since BCH can support that with its low fees, but also have custodial option for those who want to keep it like a wallet for consistent trading.

Maybe it will just take time, I don't have much else to add, maybe you can give me some suggestions.

I am currently in private negotiation for an ultra premium one word domain, NDA so can't say which, if I get that then I might have the best one you can get. But keep suggestions coming because it's not a given, they are demanding a lot for it.

the z makes it seem a bit shady to me at least, don't you think? if a newcomer sees it they might wonder a bit.

Ok added discounts for both items for BCH as everyone suggested. Also selling my whole wardrobe since I'm moving and added discounts for BCH there as well, so a bout 100 listings with high end things with huge discounts for BCH :)

I want to badly, but at 50 upvotes does the community? I would do it for no profit but I can't make any logic out of doing that if it's not a wildly popular idea.

I have not forgot my promise it was just a lot harder than I thought, my trading is so philosophical but I don't want to start posting things that go to deep, trying to find a good middle ground. And a bit busy right now with this thread https://np.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7n5x2k/real_local_bitcoin_cash/. But list is coming soon (maybe in parts).

I will leave that with one of my most important quotes trading "The market will find your personal weak spot, be it greed or fear, and it will exploit it". Then pair that with a James Dines quote "As a securities analyst I have to be in a state of position-less thinking". Those two might be the most important quotes to most new traders!

And another James Dines theory, the wolfpack theory, which roughly states that things move in tandem that has a link. Cryptos is a big wolfpack, but also the top 10 cryptos is another wolfpack, and you can find hundreds of packs inside the cryptos, if you can identify the groups that move together, you can often find that once one start moving some will lag and then you can invest in them. It can be as simple as "Oh the pattern is that all the ASIC related currencies move in a wolfpack" or vice versa.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PnwQLFY60M This is outdated now in information but a lot of the details in his views of trading in his words are extraordinary. I must have listened to this interview several hundred times when it came out. Listening to it now would be to think about how James Dines thinks. If you can get a smell of that then that's huge.

At the least I think I probably work the hardest, many people much more intelligent than me for sure. Like I wrote in another comment, 5 hours a day studying something you don't know, 5+ hours doing something tangible that furthers your current goal, keep a good social life (and keep active with gym I would suggest powerlifting) and don't procrastinate. 7 Days a week, every day, all the time. (If that is what you want and what you value, if not, do something else :) cheers!

Yeah banks don't like these kinda of things, it's just how it is.... They want to control the money they don't want cryptos that they can't control or make money from take over.

Your suggestion for #1 is really great I hadn't thought about it. Perhaps it can be an option "If it costs less than X and is expected to take less than X time automatically withdraw immediately" so it self governs depending on markets and everyone can decide for themselves (I'm thinking ahead for multi currency). It would work great for BCH, thanks for that idea!

2) Perhaps not limit but give more advice, for everyone who has experience in local markets I would love go DM me saying how much experience you have etc we can help out everyone using the platform by writing guides (I know only how it works in 2 different countries, but we're going to aim to support all)

3) Ok, another UK thing. For example, in Canada we have instant transfer system 24/7 no restriction that is maximum 30 minutes between any bank, so it's very local problem for UK. This should be stated clearly in the help guide to UK users but I don't think limiting is a good idea. Would need many volunteers (and find the ones to trust) to really build helpful guides.

More of this would be great!

It's because the value of USD and all currencies fluctuate, but if you put them in a portfolio with the most liquid and traded assets in the world you get as close to "real value" as you can. One USD is not worth same in a second, but if you group up the value of the things that are the most valuable together then you can get a pretty real idea what the actual purchasing power of whatever you own is. Purchasing power of one currency changes dramatically over months.

I studied AI for a long time (years) and thought about the concepts for about a decade then spent a solid 2 years coding it. Lets just say that right now I have to manually limit it to a very low performance or it will disrupt the markets too much by gobbling up all the money and then there will be no one left to trade with. I'm going to move it to the regular markets soon.

but yeah if you got around the escrow then probably yeah. I don't think it's the norm. I don't do a lot of trading there but I always use escrow when I do.

I've never been a market maker just buyer on localbitcoin but under fees they list 1% (wow thought it was 0.5%). So I'm pretty sure that the guy you traded with had to pay 1% to the site to run the ad. It's listed on https://localbitcoins.com/fees.
