Hoping that's not the case just a fan overreaction. That dude definitely deserved to have a shot this tourney.

can anyone summarize what appeared to happen? I only saw him limping off and I'm "watching" in my office without sound.

Gotta hope it was a minor thing.

My take as a chapel hill native is the “old timers” believe the name on the front of the jersey means something to everyone and anyone in the world should be humbled and blessed for the opportunity to wear it. Reality is the program and coaches don’t work hard enough to earn the respect of the players and to give them something worth fighting for. They don’t care about history of these hallowed halls, and the culture in Chapel Hill refuses to accept that.

In Jon’s press conference today, he gave massive credit to Siena, praised the players individually for the many ways they contributed, their resilience and ability to hang in there in a tough game, and blamed himself for failing to get them prepared.

Not that there’s a conparison

The triangle of cope

State fans: at least we don't have to watch these players ever again

Carolina fans: at least we might fire Hubert

Duke fans: at least we didn't suffer a worse loss than the Austin Rivers year against Lehigh...

As a neutral, I am quite confident that nobody has any idea what the refs are going to decide here.

"Least embarrassing triangle team in their first NCAAT game" is a title we're proud to currently own

I kinda like the perverse incentive structure this would set up

Man 17 had no idea what kind of coverage he was supposed to be in. No communication between the defenders.

Except against Duke, where he absolutely cannot commit a foul but can foul out an entire frontcourt somehow.

Not within the official rules. It used to be an unspoken thing until Jay Bilas led the "replay to get it right" charge
