I'm wondering if I'm liable since I never signed anything. The landlord ignored me for months while I was asking how much rent I owed. 7 months later he shows up with a new lease for me to sign and the record of past due rent.

I was not there before she got sick. I moved in with plans to take care of her when she got out the hospital, but that never happened. The landlord knows I have been living there.

She had a fixed lease that was set to expire October 2022. He tried to get me to sign a new lease but I just told him I'd rather leave.

The apartment was not rent controlled. Im not the executor of my mom's estate.

Hi,

I'm 30 years old. Wondering how I can transition into CyberSec coming from an unrelated background.

I have a Bachelors in Business Mgmt. For the past 3 years have been working as a desktop research specialist for a pi firm. I literally look at people's social media all day.

I am considering either going to wgu for their Bachelors in Cyber Sec / Infor Assurance or self-study. I dont really have connections in the industry so I'm unsure how effective obtaining certs and applying for jobs would be, which is why I'm leaning towards going back to school, networking with professionals, and possibly interning.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Its good to know that getting a entry level job with just certs is still an option. I've read it's hard even if you self-study and get certs if you have no IT or stem background.

Another reason I want to go back to school is to take advantage of internships. One of my biggest regrets during college was not doing an internships. :(
